I'm not sure on Denver's cap space (w/ Nene) but from looking at this trade and then the fact they are about to sign Chandler..

Did they trade Nene to fit Chandler in ??

The trade does take them from right around the cap to about $7m under, but I think they would've had Bird rights on Wilson Chandler. The main thing will be potential tax savings when the new rules kick in at the 3rd year of the CBA (which was why Dallas let Tyson Chandler walk).
