Can someone tell me how long Jay Schultz is contracted to Richmond. I think if he is out of contract at the end of the season the crows should definately persue him. He seems to be able to take a pretty good mark and has had the odd game where he has kicked a few goals.

On one condition- He doesn't stuff up our sponsership contract. But I think he has learnt his lesson though. He's been pumped up alot by the Tiger fans.... he hasn't justified the hype yet. He's showed some glimpses though. Might be good to have a look.

he aint going anywhere he owes us big time

 You Victorians are unbelievable. Of course Richmond have never taken a player from another club oh no, Kane Johnson and Nathan Brown ring any bells? By the way thanks for Jason Torney been a good servant to our club and I know he appreciates playing at a professionally run football club.

would be good to see that barossa lad back, his mum used to be my librarian :thumbsu:

all we need is for shannon hurn to come back at the end of the year, and i'll be happy :D

jay would kill it if he had a decent midfield, is a way better option than perrie welsh etc

maric + 2nd rounder = sold!

although i doubt craig has the balls to do any trading so you guys can keep looking forward to your usual prelim final choke:thumbsu:

I'm sorry did anyone ring some sort of subsonic bell that only morons can hear?

otherwise I'm at a loss to work out what you are doing here.

I think Jay is from Yorke Penisula around Maitland not the Barossa, used to play for the Cougars.

heres a thought, we need to chase some homegrown talent how about the following recruting plan:

2007: Schultz and/or Hurn
2008: Pavlich and/or Schammer
2009: Cooney and/or Gibbs

Add: Sam Butler, Angus Monfries, Beau Waters, Cameron Wood, Ryan Griffen... and the list goes on.

I don't think borntigerfan even eluded to that argument. He just said that Shultz owes Richmond for the faith they've put in him.

We might need a KP forward, but schultz hasnt really done much to make me take notice yet. He would cost a first rounder as well, which isnt really worth it for damaged goods.

when did Jay Schultz stop being a dud?
I thought he looked OK in last week's game and he kicked two good goals after taking two strong marks on the lead. The Crows don't have many young forwards coming through and he turns 22 in 11 days.
2009: Gibbs

He isn't going anywhere.
