Dunbar to Q36.5.
This says to me Harper isn't going there.

harper is going to Q36.5. As usual, Jayco made dunbar wait even though he wanted to stay at the team.

Liam Walsh anyone? Had a 4th in the TDU, beat Lamperti in stage 3 of the Czech Tour just a couple of days ago. Only 24.

Also Covi finally announced.

In an ideal world (including rumours):

Sign: Ben Wiggins, Pascal Ackermann, Jarrad Drizners, Jack Haig, Liam Walsh (junior sprinter), Miles Scotson (who knows where he'll go), Andrea Vendrame

Retain: Davide De Pretto, Michael Hepburn, Michael Matthews, Kelland O'Brien, Max Walscheid, Filippo Zana

That gets us to 30.

So with the win in GC at Guangxi, we finished with 19 wins for the season. It's down from last year but with Groenewegen going from 5 wins to 3, no Yates and Bling's heart issues it's not that big a surprise but I would have liked to crack 20. We have 21 on the roster for 2026 with De Pretto recently re-signing. Current rumours for re-signings and new signings are:

Renewed: Anders Foldager, Asbjorn Hellemose, Michael Hepburn, Bling and Kelland O'Brien
Arrivals: Pascal Ackermann (pretty much done apparently), Biniam Girmay (Would be shocked but ecstatic), Jack Haig (still unlikely for me), Kim Heiduk (lead out man/workhorse maybe?), Torstein Traen (9th in the Vuelta, second GC rider), Ben Wiggins (Son of Sir Bradley, good domestique/ITT rider)

So if those re-signings are accurate, it leaves 4 of the signings below. With Ackermann through the door I'd be hoping for Girmay, Traen and Heiduk.

It'll get sorted out. But a pretty big mistake to make really. In any case they easily get the automatic qualifiers at all WT races (600 points ahead of Q36.5, same with Cofidis and Arkea).

They did the same last year I think. I suspect it will be because of naming rights.
They have missed the deadline before. Anyway they put out a tweet today introducing 2 new riders for the womens development team.

20 listed on PC. Add Matthews, Foldager, Hellmose,OBrien,Ackermann, DaPretto, Engelhardt,McKenzie. No Hepburn, probably
no Traen. The men and women's conti team is much stronger in 2026.

McKenzie is already on PCS. De Pretto was announced as re-signed for 2 years by several sources yesterday.

Does anyone/everyone think that 2025 was a successful year?
had six world tour wins including a GC world tour win. But not many other good results.

BOC didn’t have a great year and in general the team seems worse for 2026.

BOC's Tour stage win was the highlight

BOC isn't as good as Yates. Overall yeah, when you lose your best rider and your sprinter is down on form you'll have a lesser year.

Found one in Paul Double.

Up to 3 spots left open for next season, with Welay Hagos (almost certain to get cut), Campbell Stewart (same) and Michael Hepburn (Might get re-signed?) OOC.

Jack Haig, Hugh Carthy, Gerben Thijsson (although almost certain to be the second sprinter at Lotto-Intermarche), Arne Marit, Dion Smith, Jefferson Cepeda, Miles Scotson, Alex Edmondson and Jensen Plowright all OOC and should be on the list for riders for those last few spots

Who do you think they should target?

Plowright got a few props from the commentators during the Giro this year.

More sprint options for lower ranked races / support for Ackerman you would think is important for points.

I don't want another sprinter. Ideally Scotson, Haig and re-sign Hepburn.

Need to keep our powder dry for Groves.
Plowright likely to stay.
I hope they don't sign Welsford, the over rating of Aussie sprinters is well out of hand.
Send Bling to more races.
You can have him or Ackermann but not both. Neither are prolific winners and both struggle in the mountains. Give me Groves next year.

The biggest shock signing to me so far has been the sheriff is back. Coincidence it happened after White leaving or not?
Given how quickly it happened, not really. They probably couldn't afford him last year with Cummings coming in and the payout but this season he'd slide into the White salary nicely

Groves is a gun and jayco is a below average, borderline relegation team.

Can’t imagine him frothing at the prospect of joining personally.

I also don’t get the appeal of Scotson? Maybe there is more to him in a domestique role than can be portrayed in his PCS profile. But over the past 3 years, <50 UCI points in total, not ridden a single grand tour, DNF in half of the one day races he’s been in lately. Am I misssing something?

Groves will always play second fiddle to Phillipsen at Alpecin. He also originally came from Jayco, so is familiar with the set up and money also talks, we've shed our two largest salaries in Groenewegen and Yates since he left.

Scotson is one of the better sprint train riders available on the market. He generally rides the second last link in the chain for Demare, who has retired, and if we want a dual sprint train for 2027 he's a good rider to already have on the books.

Ok, good to know about Scotson.

Anyone know if we will see more of Hatherley this year?
Only had 39 race days last year.
Was promising to start the year.
