I think its pretty much agreed on that we need a good big gorilla tamer or something down in the back line, to take on the likes of Hall, Brown, Rocca, etc. It's usually extremely hard to find someone like this in the draft, and anyone who does IMO is lucky, so i think trading is the best answer at the moment.

Jaymie Graham over at the Coasters i know is one big fella, and iirc i dont think he gets that much game time at the moment. He's 196cm., 95kg. and he's 24 yo.

If we could offer someone like Green, if only for their forward line, would it work?

Is he Victorian? Not that it should matter but it could play an important role...

I think he would be suited to our club, wouldn't mind him

Why not try Brad Miller on the gorillas? He's got the physical attributes required, and his CHF spot is all but gone, so this is basically his last option.

Plus he doesn't have to take marks, he can just spoil. And he doesn't need to use too much of his brain back there - *spoil, tackle, handball* - thats about it :D

It does sound good... but I remember him playing on Hall earlier this season, and Hall was handling like a blow-up doll (no I don't know from experience). LoL. He would wanna bulk up quite a bit before he is made a gorilla-tamer IMO

We wouldn't want Miller IMO.

I don't know anything about Graham, but I would like Miller to be given a go at CHB. Yes, he got flogged by Hall earlier in the year, but he also did extremely well on him last year. Miller was pretty good on Sunday. It takes away his need to have make quick decisions after taking grabs and not have to kick as much. I think he should fight out the key back positions with Rivers, Carroll & Ferguson.

i definetly agree with the miller comments, his just simply not good enough to play CHF, he has had ample time to prove himself there, give him the role of CHB for a few games to see how he goes, we have nothing to lose, if CHB doesnt work out for him either trade him for a 3rd or 4th round pick or delist him at the years end.

We need to keep Miller at the back for the rest of the year and judge him at then end. Neale danihers problem was that he would put miller in the back against hall, the move him forward the next week, he would have a crap game get dropped. How the hell is Miller supposed to get any momentum or confidence when he is always being shifted after a crap game. Keep him in one place, which IMO should be Full Back, yes Full Back and see how he goes. We need a CHB that can generate some run, and make good decisions, and our full back can be the dumb one that punches the ball hard. Graham IMO seems to much like a Ryan Ferguson type.
