VFL is the first big test for Lamb. A huge step up from NEAFL.

would not be surprised if he slots straight in.

likely he is the one of the GWS 4 to really make an impact next year

And your pun?

Oh, sorry.

I can see why people didn't think he was much chop as he doesn't rack up a lot of possessions and does shank the odd kick, and I've yet to see him put in a forequarter performance. But he's no chump, he's got brains and a bit of leg, so it wouldn't surprise to see him get back in the saddle and spring into action, rather than stewing on the way he was cut from the Swans and GWS. He'd be looking to shoulder more responsibility next year and hopefully avoid a roasting from the Carlton fans.

no-one likes a specialist......
That's why we are where we are!
Bunch of very good ordinary players! A specialist CHB is what we are drafting btw so I guess you won't like him? Plays for over a decade there, helps us to flag but is a specialist CHB.
Non specialists are about quantity not quantity just go to most GP's and you will soon see how they are a Jack of all trades and often completely misdiagnose or fail to recognize your ailment. This doesn't happen with specialists they are the best at what they do!

If he pulls a hammy in the first half, to save being a player down we can just dress Mutton up .
I can just hear the commentators if he gets a leg injury...

" I'm not sure, but I think Lamb's pulled a hammy or maybe he's carrying a calf.....what's going on at the blues, who's looking after the farm."

Only the 6 disposals for Jed today but did lay 7 tackles, 2nd highest out of the team.

Should be able to lock down that defensive forward position for the start of the season.

I do hope he's aware of what he's got himself in for. It's going to be frustrating as a forward in our side this season. Just needs to put his head down, bum up and keep putting in the hard yards.

You got this Jed! :thumbsu:

7 disposals @ 85% DE on the weekend. Had 3 score involvements and 5 tackles (2 inside 50).

Really would be good if he could impact the scoreboard a bit more but as a minimum, he needs to keep up the manic pressure when the ball is in the forward line. Laid a very good tackle in the 2nd quarter (from memory) that had the commentators momentarily singing his praises.

Think he probably starts against Richmond :thumbsu:
