A pair of goals of the highest quality from Jed in the Showdown to showcase his growing offensive talents as well as his trademark never say die spirit in a game where many of his higher profile teammates simply waved the white flag.

At this rate the Jed Heads will be celebrating the big 50 game milestone before the season is out. Hopefully the club is working on the merch range as we speak.

Just coming into his prime, the next 50 games will fly by!

After the Cows gave us an anal prolapsing and there is another one on the cards down at Geelong this week, I don't have the capacity to care.

I hope he plays next week and Ryan Burton picks up a lazy 20 odd possies and maybe even bring back a half dead Chuck Wagon or Lycett. Play Boak down back and watch him have more turnovers than the St Peters Bakery.

I will admit the goal on quarter time and also Sweet's goals in the first quarter were both very impressive.

If everyone was honest they'd admit he's looked like the best small forward in the entire squad the last couple of weeks, showcasing a wide array of skills in the process. Last week kicked a couple of terrific goals in the wet and was a tackling machine, this week was running up and down the ground getting involved all day whilst making Stewart accountable and hitting the scoreboard in 3 of the 4 quarters.

Still only 24 with 49 games to his name, really looks to be finding his feet at the level. Lots of bad judges on this website. Will be scandalous if he doesn't get another contract.

I loved his tackle on Darcy, he looked like a barnacle stuck to the side of an oil tanker but there was no way he was letting go. Was paid the htb and converted the goal.

Good on him, he's been ok since returning to the side.

Here's the problem (one of) about Cheese. At half time he's going OK 8 touches 3 tackles 2 goals.

He's ended up with 12 touches 4 tackles and 2 goals. He has pretty much vanished for half the game.

Playing him these last few games has put us in a no win position.

He should absolutely be delisted because probably 45 out of his 50 games have been awful and he did absolutely nothing in the SANFL to deserve the last chance he was given, but he's also probably in the best three game patch of his career. So if we don't delist him, it's yet another year wasted on a low ceiling not up to it spud. If we do delist him, then what the hell were we hoping to achieve by playing him, because he's played better than could be expected only to get delisted anyway.

The problem is our expectations are so low we are lauding a 12 disposal game as a "give him another year moment". If only our expectations were so low of Pittard, Bonner and Burton.

Happy for Carr to make the call on this one.

I think he shows some good stuff, and the coaches and teammates obviously like what he brings even though it doesn’t seem enough from our perspective but he has good speed, has a crack, and when he gets a set shot he normally nails it and in our team full of chokers in front of goal that’s pretty valuable.

I thought he played reasonably well but like a lot of the team faded in the last quarter.

Lorenz gets a lot of praise and he had a good game last night but had 2 set shots from 40 metres and didn’t make the distance twice.
