well finlayson did leave the club with a couple of hefty bags

Those sky high loopy kicks though. I will never forget he shat himself when he had Finlayson all on his own only to kick it so high that two Geelong players ran and spoiled the ball.
I think it is really good that guys with good skills and bad attitudes are gone like Finlayson and Dylan Williams.
But you also have to get rid of guys with bad skills and good attitudes. They aren't taking you anywhere either. I love Poults but you knew.
You have to be ruthless both ways.
For mine, Carr will have to look seriously at delisting McEntee because we have got young guys playing better than him in his position.
However, the small and medium forward position is a bit up in the air at the moment. Rioli is off to Burger King. Powell-Pepper is two times ACL injured. Byrne-Jones is soft. Richards does a job but is limited. Berry is young and who knows what his ceiling is. Mackinley has impressed recently. Cochrane impressed in SANFL early and did OK in the AFL but is injured. Anastasopoulos is teetering on delist mountain.
It's just an area of the list that needs a top ender to come in and blitz.
Jed might get saved by the lack of top end talent in his position but really that shouldn't be enough.
