RICHMOND young gun Daniel Rioli will lead a contingent of Tigers players and coaches to his home on the Tiwi Islands over the bye week.

Teammates Shane Edwards, Jack Riewoldt, Jayden Short, and Dylan Grimes will be joined by coaches Justin Leppitsch, Craig McRae, Xavier Clarke and football boss Dan Richardson on the four-day trip.

The players and coaches will be introduced to Rioliโ€™s family and will get the opportunity to learn more about indigenous people.

โ€œWe want to build a culturally aware football club and this is a great opportunity for some of our players and coaches to understand more about Daniel and his culture,โ€ Richardson said.

โ€œDaniel is a fantastic young person and itโ€™s great heโ€™s willing to share his story with the players and coaches.

โ€œObviously Richmond has great links to the Tiwi Islands through his uncle Maurice Rioli.

โ€œIt is important that we continue to connect with a family that has meant so much to this club and the game more broadly.โ€

It comes as the Melbourne Cricket Club braces for a crowd of up to 90,000 for Saturday nightโ€™s blockbuster Dreamtime at the โ€˜G clash between Richmond and Essendon.

It could be the highest attended match of the season so far, with the Anzac Day crowd of 87,685 under threat.

Meanwhile, Richmond is set to sign Kamdyn McIntosh to a new two-year deal and Nathan Drummond to a new one-year deal.

Rioli, 20, is also in contract negotiations and expected to recommit.

The Tigersโ€™ financial position has been strengthened by the re-signing of joint major sponsor Jeep Australia for three more years.

The extension makes Jeep the Tigersโ€™ longest serving major sponsor in the clubโ€™s history.

โ€œWe are excited to be tackling that future with our staunchest commercial ally at our side for three more exciting years,โ€ Richmond chief executive Brendon Gale said.

What good thing? Weren't you discussing Jeep?

from what ive heard the recent releases have been a decent quality improvement on the stuff we saw early on

All joke aside the black Jeep logo on our jumper is the best looking in the league

just fits in so well with our colours, nothing worse than a sponsor that is not in club colours as it makes the jumper look shitty

if only we can now move on from the ugly green bingle eyesore
