I saw his Melbourne show last night, and let me just say it was an honour and a privilege to see this six string legend give an absolute clinic in the art of guitar playing.

His performance of 'Cause We've Ended As Lovers', which also happens to be one of my favorite tracks of his, was simply sublime and brought tears to my eyes.

A magician :)

"A day in the life", "Cause we've ended as lovers" and "A brush with the blues" where the highlights for me.

He was really incredible! Plus how good were the drummer and bassist! (i've always been a fan of tal wilkenfield though ;))

The young lass can certain pound out a mean bassline no doubts about it.

I thought the drummer, while very good, lost the groove a few times trying to play just a tad too bombastically, like on the cover of Billy Cobhams 'Stratus'

He didn't lose it as much as Billy Cobham did on the original. :)

Vinnie played like a maniac.
