There's a few pictures in here where it looks like Ghislaine is rubbing Jeffrey's feet on her boobies on the plane and taking her shirt off while Jean-Luc sits opposite. It's so casual, I have to wonder who's got all the movies? There must be heaps of them.

The background. Most of the claims against Brunel were outside of the statute of limitations in France so he was carrying on as if he was untouchable until Virginia came forward as a key witness with enough evidence to have him charged with multiple rapes that were within the statute. He was intercepted and taken into custody trying to board a one way flight to Dakar in January last year.

French daily newspapers Le Monde and Le Parisian report that the disgraced fashion agent was founded hanged last night in his prison cell at La Santé in Paris.

Brunel, 76, had been indicted and remanded in custody in December 2020 following accusations of rape and sexual assault of minors – including three 12-year-old sisters.

He was also being probed over human trafficking and being part of a criminal conspiracy amid his association with Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell.

When Ghislaine was 'on the run' wasn't she spotted having a meeting with Jean-Luc Brunel in South American somewhere? I wonder why he decided to end it straight after Virginia's settlement with Prince Andrew. Or he was killed now.

Something to do with getting the message that Ghislaine is no longer protecting any of them? Can we expect Dershowitz next?
Interesting timing, straight after Prince Andrew's settlement

Surprise Maxwell is still alive

Probably

Prince Andrew was an easy target for Virginia, royal family wouldn't want to anymore bad PR

His statement on settlement is really important and it's given Virginia some protection going forward. Along with the clause that he's banned from denying the rapes ever took place:

In the statement on Tuesday, Andrew said that he had never intended “to malign Ms. Giuffre’s character and he accepts that she has suffered both as an established victim of abuse and as a result of unfair public attacks.”

In the joint statement on Tuesday, Andrew said it was “known that Jeffrey Epstein trafficked countless young girls over many years,” and that he “regrets his association with Epstein and commends the bravery of Ms. Giuffre and other survivors in standing up for themselves and others.”

Just waiting to read the tragic news of GM's freak accident and resulting incapacitation after falling down some stairs! - although this 'accident' may depend on whether VG and her legal team decide to pursue other historical 'clients' she was encouraged to 'entertain'...

Probably depends if vg's lawyers push her to pursue other clients. She managed to get a good settlement against a royal member so who is next.

Purely speculating legal jurisdiction and process here. Assuming the court has access to names of the reported '8 John Does', they maybe legally obliged to at least present these names in-confidence to VG and other known claimant's, get their sworn testimonies including details of dates/places, other witnesses etc.
And thereafter pursue these 'John Does' and seek related partial or full admissions and/or their verified alibis..?

Gawd, another prison suicide but this time in France.

Former French modeling agent Jean-Luc Brunel, close to American billionaire Jeffrey Epstein, was found dead in his cell in the Paris Health prison, the Paris prosecutor’s office confirmed on Saturday February 19. This same source specifies that an investigation into the causes of death has been opened, entrusted to the 3rd judicial police district.

Accused of rape by several former top models, which he disputed, Jean-Luc Brunel had been arrested on December 16, 2020. He had been indicted the next day for “rape of a minor over 15 years old” and “sexual harassment “, and remanded in custody. He was re-indicted six months later. The former agent had also been placed under the intermediate status of assisted witness, for the facts of “aggravated human trafficking to the detriment of minor victims for the purpose of sexual exploitation”.
You have to wonder how Epstein & now Brunel apparently suicide when being closely monitored in their cells.

Just adds to the conspiracy theories...

Your assumption that Brunel was being closely monitored in his cell, is under serious challenge in the article below, I've extracted the most relevant info from.

'was found hanged by his bedsheets in a Paris jail cell'

'Brunel is thought to have been alone at the time of his death and there were no cameras to record his final hours, according to an investigating source at La Santé – one of the toughest jails in France.'

'A night patrol found his lifeless body at about 1 a.m.,' said an investigating source. 'A judicial enquiry has been launched, and early evidence points to suicide.'

'While CCTV is commonplace in the corridors and gateways of French prisons, the vast majority of cells are not under video surveillance. This is ensure a degree of privacy, and to make sure that European human rights legislation is not violated.

Inmates are sometimes known to record events using devices including mobile phones, but Brunel is thought to have been in a single occupancy cell, said the source.

'There is an investigation going on to confirm all this, but at the moment it looks like he killed himself alone, and it was a routine patrol that found his body hanging,' he said.

The source added: 'There were no obvious fears for the prisoner's health, and he was not on a suicide watch, having already been in prison for many months.''

'he official inquiry into Brunel's sudden death on Saturday being carried out by offices from the 3rd Judicial Police district in Paris. An autopsy was set to be carried out to establish the exact cause of death.

Forensic officers were meanwhile examining the cell where Brunel died. La Santé, which was built in the 19th Century, has housed some of the most dangerous prisoners in recent French history.

There is a so-called 'VIP section' where inmates include 'super terrorist' and mass killer Carlos the Jackal, whose real name is Ilich Ramírez Sánchez.'

'Brunel's lawyers suggested Saturday that he, too, killed himself. In a statement, they described his 'distress' at his incarceration and his repeated requests for a provisional release from the prison.'

'Jean-Luc Brunel never stopped declaring his innocence,' they said. 'His decision was not guided by guilt, but by a deep sentiment of injustice.'

The lawyers would not further comment on what happened, and it was unclear whether the jail had suicide prevention measures in place.'

You would have to question why he was not being closely monitored, particularly after what happened to Epstein.

Only adds to the conspiracy theories...

Serious question.....ls the Queen audited? If so, how and by whom and by what process?

I'm probably stating the bleeding obvious, but how easy would it be for a huge monarchy to appropriate and disseminate 12 million pounds in various 'legimate' directions.

So funny to see the 60 Minutes interview again! I enjoy it more every time.

"There's a slight problem with the sweating".

I think the duck's been trodden on. 🤣

The public funds are accounted for as would be the case for any other government expenditure.

But they have private income too from their estates. No idea how that works.
There's an article discussing this linked earlier in the thread. Public monies are for specific purposes only and are audited. There's a duchy which is quite valuable these days and less transparent. And the Queen has around 350,000,000 pounds of her own money. She could have paid for the settlement but it seems like Andrew had to pay whatever he could (i.e. sell the chalet). Perhaps she paid the remainder. Or maybe he makes her sick and she told him to go * himself.

Only 26% think the Clintons killed Epstein, how naive are the other 74%

It didn't all end with Epstein. Maxwell is convicted which makes her especially dangerous and Prince Andrew might as well have just given Virginia a character reference she can use against Dershowitz in their ongoing matters.

Dershowitz might have to withdraw his defamation claims against Virginia and settle as well.
