Apparantly Jen has real access to The Wilson.

Apparantly Jen has real access to The Wilson.

Can anyone truly access The Wilson, or are we merely able to feel the force of His presence and its effect on us, sort of like Gravity but not the film where Sandra Bullock falls from space a lot?

I got there fairly early. Training wasn't starting til 10:15, but got there around 9:45. The players started to trickle out starting with Jack Madgen, Pendles and The Wilson. Followed by Maynard, Keene, Roughy, Callum Brown, Tohil, Adams, Wills, Crocker, Noble, Crisp, Greenwood, Mayne, Howe, Sidey, Atu, Mihochek, Sier, Tyler, IQ, Reid, Daicos, Treloar, Lynch, Grundy, Hoskin-Elliot, Aish, Phillips, Shaz, Appleby, Varcoe, Stevo, Broomy, Joshy, Goldy, Elliott --- Then I got sidetracked with "OMFG Darcy cut and dyed his hair back" As you can imagine I got put off in shock as I tried to register this new change. In that meantime De Goey and coxy came out and slipped under my radar.

HIS HAIR. Still in shock, I tell ya! He looks his age again. SO much better. Phew! He listened to the fans.

Furthermore, Adams and Wills started doing some running laps along the boundary. I guess it seems the calf injury Wills has is slowly improving. Hoping he can get back to VFL soon -- our team needs him, like you wouldn't believe. But so it was good news to see him running and doing some rehab type stuff with a trainer.
It wasnt too much longer that you can sense Adams was still sore. He stopped and talked to a trainer, pointed to his upper leg where his injury was, so I think he was indicating it was too sore to continue. So then he went inside, and did not come back. Hopefully next week he is able to be pain free and train again.

The group then separated into two as they went about different training drills. One consisted on handball drills, and the other kicking and marking. There was also goal kicking by some.
Later then was the match sim. Everyone participated except for Murphy, who is still building himself up after his injury. He wore an orange cap. I assume that means no contact for him.

It winded down at around 11:30, then some kids wanted to interview me for their school projects in regards to footy lol

eta: Photos to come.

That’s correct.

But Jen has tapped into the zeitgeist for those few seconds.

Where mortality met The Wilson.

She felt like a giddy first time all up multi player.

(Gamble responsibly)

My burning question remains... was Crocker or Daicos wearing a yellow vest in match sim?

Nobody was at that point. I couldn't see who was going to be picked based on today. I doubt it will be crocker. Will be between Reid and Daicos.

Thanks Jen. Were there any standouts? How did Elliott look?

Elliott looked good. Definitely edging closer more and more.

Everyone looked pretty good. I sometimes get in the habit of watching and forget about analysing who stood out the most. But you could tell they were itching for the game on Sunday. The bye has served them well.

Who is Newton, and what has he done for us lately....

Something to do with apples Saintly. As a fellow equine, I would have thought that would make him at least of interest.

I used to know him.

Now he’s irrelevant.

The Wilson is all I need to know.

Bucks took a long time after training talking to Daics so looks like he will replace JS.

Fingers crossed! He’s a much better structural fit this week than the alternative replacements for Stephenson.

So it sounds like...

Elliott coming along ok, might be back soon? :)

Adams, not any time soon :(

Murphy will lose almost a season with that ****ing ankle at this rate.

No sign of Kelly, that hammy must be bad.

Darcy is now taking his style cues from Colin Firth in Pride and Prejudice more than Kiera Knightly in Bend it Like Beckham. This is indisputably a good thing.

Wilson is now an SI unit of force, the WMTw (Wilson Mega-Twat) (=1.347x10e22 fMcL (femtoMcLachlans), the unit of force used by Gill against any transgression by GWS, which in turn was derived from the old Imperial measure of force, the WLL (wet lettuce leaf))

Daics Jr may be coming into the side for Sunday.

Holding onto the good things. Thanks for all of it Jen. It helps.

Kelly's hamstring was bad. But hopefully we will see him on the track in the coming weeks.

Daicos was be almost like for like for stevo, so seems to be the logical choice.
