Then what's your answer for the return clash when Carlisle got 4.5 kicked on him? And against the pies when he kicked 7 on Brown? He's an absolute superstar, FF who got into the AA side at 20. Who was the last Key Forward to do that?

Depends on how crap the rest of your season is? Suspect St Kilda will show interest in him and if working purely on draft picks they'll offer a much better one than Richmond. Also depends on whether or not Victoria is the preferred destination or that he just wants out of GWS to go to a club that has a bright future. If this is the case then Fremantle are definitely a player and maybe Brisbane (although not really sure where we are heading), especially if they end up with pick #1.

Firstly, there is a long way to go before Cameron is even on the market but if it happens, good luck anyone trying to trade with Gubby.
Salary and contract length would need to be huge to win him over and trade price massive to get the deal done.
Chances are GWS have first PSD pick and could take him there so there will be no brinkmanship in negotiations.
I'd love him at Collingwood but I don't want to waste time, tie up the cap and pay GWS through the nose. I'd rather work on someone else.

The bigger issue is the future of GWS if Cameron and others decide to leave, it looks very much like he has instructed his manager to put out the feelers. GWS are in serious trouble, the Australian Football League have mis-handled the whole GWS induction into the competition by totally under-estimating the Western Sydney market place. They began by not adopting a colour scheme that would be more identifiable with the heartland of NSW which is the Greater Western Sydney region. The Sky Blue colours or at least similar should've been a priority. They need to scrap the Canberra experiment and they need to attract a big name superstar to their club. Gold Coast snared Ablett, but GWS missed the boat with Franklin. IMO missing out on Buddy could be the nail in the coffin of this whole fiasco. I give it 3 years and their done.

Are you serious - Even taking into account future potential - Judd was about the best player in the competiton and Cameron is not in the top 50 - The Cameron hype machine is unlimited.

Seen him play much? he is a freak, he is also allot younger than Judd was then, not injured like Judd was either.

Chances are there is nothing in this article, as it seems convenient after 2 100 point losses by the Giants

But it does pose the question, if Cameron was to announce at the end of his contract he wanted to return to Melbourne

1) What kind of money would/should he get
2) What kind of deal would have to get the job done (remembering free agency doesnt apply yet for him)
3) Which clubs would be leading the chase

If this were to occur, i'd expect Carlton to be chasing pretty hard

I reckon if he wants to stay in Sydney the swans could accommodate him

From what I understand, even the manager has backed away from the Hun story, so it's not just Cameron that saying all the "right things", just like Boak who stayed and Ablett who left.

If a trade had to be made, I'd be pretty happy to give Reid + pick and then encourage several players into retirement, such as LRT and possibly Goodes.

Frawley won't go to GWS after playing at a battling Dees his whole career, and with some light at the end of the tunnel for Melbourne
Nathan Brown from Collingwood has shoulders made of glass which will never improve, and really is just a battler in a team with a good midfield - imagine how poor he'd look with GWS midfield non existant pressure!
Carlisle has infraction notices hanging over him - who would seriously look at trading for a Bombers player with so much uncertainty hanging over them, rightly or wrongly?

He's still contracted to GWS for another 18 months!

Sorry to know that you are clueless, your flippancy is clouding your already inept judgement. The GWS induction has been botched from the beginning, they missed out on a superstar unlike Gold Coast who got their man, Franklin is with the Swans. Yes, the colours would've meant a lot more to the people in Sydney's heartland. Unless there is a radical change the already complacent Australian Football League will lose this battle before it begins. The AFL don't have time on their hands anymore, the last 24 months have been a shocker for them. Attendances in Melbourne are way down, we have fan discontent, the Essendon saga has caused more damage than anyone is prepared to admit and the GWS situation can't afford the long haul you suggest because the Australian Football League have other codes baring down on them fast. Laugh all you want, if the likes of Cameron jump ship and the GWS cannot attract a major superstar to their club then what do you suggest? Dominate in 3 years time? There is more chance of The Smiths reforming than GWS dominating in 3 years time!

But teams dont set themselves to play GWS. Collingwoods lack of pressure in the first half of that game was probably the worst they have applied for years. If Collingwood were ever that flat against a Geelong or someone they would have been 15 goals down at half time. How many times was a team really on when they played GWS and put in a real intense performance, how did Cameron go in those games? We were coming a terrible loss to Carlton and came out firing last year against them, he had 2 possessions that day.

Hes a very good young player and possibly deserved his AA selection, its not his fault GWS games arent played at a high standard, but tbh i think he had it easy last year due to very little intensity in most GWS games and may be a tad overhyped at this stage.

Of course you'd be happy to give Reid + pick (likely to be around 16 at best) for Cameron...you'd be screwing GWS over hard...
