Carlisle would be by some distance the best defender than GWS has if he ended up there. Don't be fooled by his ordinary form up forward - that is simply a failed and misguided experiment.

From the sounds of things he might have a show cause notice from ASADA that GWS might not be interested in.

Would love the Tiges to have a crack but I doubt we would be able to offer the best deal to GWS to get it done.

I think our tall stocks are fairly strong (relatively speaking compared to the rest of the list) so would personally rather chase another gun mid if it came down to it. Certainly though if we had something GWS wanted and Cameron wanted to come to Tigerland I'd love to see a deal happen.

Surely has to be Melbourne if happens this year. Melbourne could let Frawley go to GWS via FA. They would then get lets say pick 5 compensation. Then trade 4 + 5 for Cameron.

So the Dees would lose 4 + Frawley for Cameron which is a big win.

GWS would get Frawley + 4 +5 for Cameron which is very good for them, could then try and trade any 3 of their top 5 draft picks for top players.

People are forgetting a club like Port. They have no problem acquiring and retaining kids from country Victoria. Ollie Wines springs to mind.

Port are about to go on a rampage, they pull good crowds and would be able to offer him some handy cash.

Plus, Cameron's a bit of a country lad. Might enjoy the calm waters of Henley Beach rather than the hustle and bustle of St. Kilda beach.

In terms of where our sides age profile is at, and our current performance he would be an absolute perfect fit (for Port ... who need another key forward). with Schulz initially, but taking the key forward mantle with our young side around him..... Not sure how we would get it done though, because as with all trades, we would need to give up a lot, and could potentially lose some of whats making the side click at the moment.

I can’t see them being after midfielders if they do have an actual fear that Cameron wants out at the end of this year. Given that they need a KPD, we might be one of few teams able to get the deal done, with the likes of Frawley, Dunn, McDonald and Garland on the books.

More appealing for them: Keep Frawley and Dunn, trade McDonald / Garland and our first round pick for Cameron and their second round pick

Less appealing for them: Lose Frawley to Hawks as a free agent, keep Dunn, trade our subsequent two first round picks for Cameron and their second round pick

I don’t think we can trade Frawley or Dunn, given they’re both UFAs.
