Prelim final, hard no. Wil Parker should have stayed in. Howe should have been ruled out for missing too much footy, just like Bobby was.

They've lost integrity over their selection integrity policy. Hopefully they're humble enough to admit they ****ed up and learn from it.

It’s honestly pretty absurd that they’re being this open about Howe being completely underdone. A giant middle finger to Parker, and a giant middle finger to others overlooked for not being “fit to perform”

I don’t think bringing in a player on managed minutes is an issue we just brought in the wrong player.

Howe over Parker wasn’t much of upgrade nor was Mihocek over McStay.

Bobby on managed minutes would have given our forward line a real point of difference though.

This completely goes against the "fit to perform" mantra. Honestly this boils my blood to hear.

If you're playing Howe and managing his minutes in a prelim, then you're already bending over and spreading your cheeks for the opposition. So disappointing.

I wouldn’t judge him on tonight’s performance.He was as rusty as anything after not having played any football for two months.He can play a lot better than that.

It’s not about judging him on 1 performance, his body is letting him down.

It’s to be expected, he’s already 35.

He’s had a wonderful career, the time is right to retire but he isn’t. Strange call.

I was legitimately surprised when his re-signing was announced. It was in the wake of him not being able to play a full game. His body appears to be struggling with the demands of AFL level footy.

I think he should be used more as depth and for his leadership, helping develop younger players.

See how he gets through preseason I guess.
