They got sucked into playing howe. They somehow mistook fit to play for fit to perform.

Given his age, as much as we need him, you can double that for how much we need to find a replacement for him, whether as a trade or coming through our system.

Pretty sure Nick Daicos’ minutes were managed in the 2023 prelim.

I don’t think bringing in a player on managed minutes is an issue we just brought in the wrong player.

Howe over Parker wasn’t much of upgrade nor was Mihocek over McStay.

Bobby on managed minutes would have given our forward line a real point of difference though.

Steele had 12 disposals in 63% tog, 1 score involvement. I certainly think Bobby could have been more impactful than that.

Doubt it would have made any difference, it was in the midfield where we got spanked
