Only saw him play a couple of games this year, but i reckon hes got a good future hard at the ball and was able to find it as well. Type of player Richmond could use in our midfield.
How highly do you eagles supporters rate him who probably saw him play more often than what i did.

Well to be honest, most of us reckon he will stay here but wouldn't really attract interest from other clubs. Even if we did trade him, we wouldn't really get a return on it so it would probably be better for us just to keep him and develop him.

do you reckon you he can play at all though? Was last year his first year or second? Would he be traded if you could something for him?

He was impressive in the WAFL, but as so many other players have found, it is hard to transfer that over to the AFL.

Well he can certainly play well at WAFL level and has shown signs at AFL level.

This was his second season of AFL after being picked up in the late 30's in the National draft and being an All-Australian U18 a couple of years back.

He won't be delisted but I doubt he will be traded.

I don't think he will be delisted. The last couple of games he played for the Coasters showed what talent this boy has.

So much untapped talent oozing from our boys. When they reach their potential, we are going to have some classy players.

It will be like the early 90s again.....remember how some Vic clubs were jealous of the players we had?

I am a fan of his and think Hummy is a great player - full of guts and goes in hard at the ball. This is an area we need to improve in at the Eagles and is why I think Chick (at the right price) would be a good pickup.

Humm has shown a lot of courage in his 4-5 games at the club and I hope this will translate into him being a regular member of the team in the next few years.

Trading shouldnt be an option as mentioned earlier he has only been on the list for a few years. Not all players are instant successes like Juddy - even Black and Hedland took some time to find their feet in the AFL.

I quite like Humm; he throws himself into every contest and has looked good on occasion

IMO, we should keep him; he wouldnt be worth much to Victorian clubs so lets get the best out of him and keep him here

Humm has something from day one that a lot of players can't ever learn- guts. Still has a heck of a long way to go, but his best attribute is his preparedness to go in and under, take marks under pressure, collect hospital handpasses, basically do all the things which generally result in a blood rule send off :)
Has a future at west coast, possibly as the small defender understudy to Phil Read. However, there is one other very very good reason for hanging onto him- he's Chris Judd's roomie, best mate, and surfing buddy!! Even if he was a total scrubber, it'd be worth keeping him on our list if it helped us hang onto the Juddster- and if he turns into an ok player in the process, well, more power to us ;)

Hummer should be looking to take the small defender role for us next season, to be honest I dont know why he wasnt given the job this year when persisting with Banfield and taylor didnt work. I'd like to see him used down back and to help relieve Dan Kerr in the midfield as our in and under type, the boy certainly showed a hell of a lot of guts, particularly against North in the last round of the season.

Hummer is quality, just untapped as yet. The first game i saw him play, the ball was bounced, someone got a quick kick in which went real high and about 20 metres. Hummer tracking it the whole way, eyes on the ball....he got cleaned up and took no further part in the game. But that was enough .... he had guts, he wasnt afraid to get hit and he had eyes only for the football...has a bright future with WC.

Reminds me of that guy from "Greatest American Hero" (??)
Think that's what it's called......

His only real value to our club is his friendship to Judd. For all the guts he has, i feel he lacks the neccesary class to play the highest level and will always at best, be a interchange/backpocket. Seriously, he doesn't even impress at WAFL level.

Hopefully i'm wrong and he's the next David Hart, but i doubt that.
