Jericho's BACK

This is the query for me.....

If I see Kenny in the Ruck - I'm going to bust a vessel......:thumbsd:

...especially when we're on a hiding to nothing....and it might be an opportunity to bring in Tippy or Ivan

Maybe the severity of the injury Huddo is carrying has been exaggerated? It's the only thing I could come up with other than that they do indeed intend to use K-Mac in the ruck as you suggest.

Thats what I think. Sure he was struggling but if he was REALLY bad he wouldnt have finished the game. Not training is just a precaution so he's right to go..... IMO

McGreoger, Pfeiffer or Rocket Campbell should have got in ahead of Jericho. Rocket loves the tough stuff, he would have been perfect.

Not ready YET. In the words of Stewie Griffen.... "Not now.. but SOON"

McGregor and Rocket will benefit fitness-wise from more time in the SANFL. Pfeiffer fits in the same category although he hasn't been kept out of training. Jericho is the only one from the group to have played every SANFL game so far this year iirc, and if he puts his mind to it he could generate a lot of run (which we've been lacking). Not a poor decision imo.

Im excited for two reasons.

Firstly, we were lead to believe we wouldn't have Torney, Burton, Huddo and maybe Welsh - and now we have ALL of them!

Secondly, that Jericho is being given another chance. This is a HUGE opportunity for Luke, and I hope he grabs it with both hands and runs like hell!

Kenny Mc is unlucky (or is he?) - would rather not see him in the ruck. Maybe they will go with the 3rd man up (often Edwards) as they did against Sandilands?

Time to step up... If he does crap then I think this might be his last match in AFL unless we have another pile of injuries. Pressure is on... hopefully he can handle it.

"if you read this you are gay" ... my primary school daughter told be the new correct definition of gay is like "w*nkerish" ... am I a **** or a w*nker or just a crow-happy guy?

Absolute gutless ****ing wonder

Hopefully he pulls his finger out, because he's probably exactly the guy we need at the moment.

I'm very doubtful that he'll have an impact though. Lazy and soft footballer.

Agreed, and what makes it worse is when you look at the weapons he has!! Pace, leap, can kick a goal etc etc, if he ****ing gave us 100% he would be something else. He frustrates me so much!!

Luke...the potential inside you have. FFS use it you must.

I am also amazed when people talk about how much talent he has, I am yet to see this. I know some will point out a good game of his every now and then but surely that must only be a fluke. As you said, he should be carving it up in the SANFL like so many AFL-listed players do yet he doesn't do that much.
If its a fluke it happens once, maybe twice! He has played enough good games in the SANFL to suggest that its not a fluke. His main problem is his softness and his inconsistency. He will a blinder this week and follow it up with a shocker the next. On average he will put 2 or 3 excellent games a season but they will never follow one another.

I don't think its a question of talent with him but more his application and hence the consistency of his performances. You don't have a game of touches in high 20s, 10 marks and 5 or 6 goals. Jericho has had 2 pr 3 of those in the SANFL over the years.

If he doesn't make it, it won't be a question of talent but more a question of application and commitment.

haha ham it up sister, everyone craps on about how much skill jericho has and about his 'weapons' what a load of shit mate. OMG HE HAS PACE that is heaps good if he was a sprinter

you seem to build up every single player, it is very odd of you

Putting in 2 or 3 good performances in 20 games is pretty flukey to me.

Odd that I like to support my team and be as positive as I can? At least I'm not tearing the kid down when he gets a game. I'm a supporter, not a critic.

I support my team as well and try and take a positive approach to things but every single kid at our club is an absolute superstar in your eyes and has 'a bit of Player X' in them and Player X is always a champion. You can be confident without saying omg he has awesome skills hes wikked and he reminds me of darren jarman crossed with james hird. I am a realist while you are a fairy living in la la land.

It would be if the rest of the games were shockers which they clearly are not. Overall he is a good SANFL player who plays 2 or 3 blinders a year mixed in with a shocker or 2. Sort of like Burton and Bock at the start of their careers.

Not true and you know it. If I thought every kid was currently a superstar I'd be throwing money left, right and centre for the brownlow. Have you proof otherwise?

I don't rate Jericho based on what he's produced overall but I do know that he's lazy. If he wasn't lazy he could produce so much more, whether you like it or not.

HA HA the controversial selection we were all waiting for, while I am disappointed neither Pfeiff nor Bryce are in good luck to Jericho. Whilst I may not always agree with our selections once they put the AFC jumper on I support them 110%. Both Norwood lads in the emergencies, hmm hopefully they can be left here to play in the SANFL.

I hope he kickes arse.... Now realistically I hope he plays his part and gets atleast 2/3 games.

He should be busting his balls for this is his last chance and I hope he can proove us all wrong.
