Luke Jericho will play his first premiership game since round 12 of the 2005 season on Saturday night.

Only one change has been made to the 22 to play Brisbane at the Gabba, with Jericho replacing John Hinge who strained a hamstring in his first AFL appearance.

Jericho, who played 15 games in his first season (2004) and then five in 2005, appeared in the NAB Cup series last year but was overlooked early in the season and then had shoulder surgery.

Adelaide named 2006 draftee Bryce Campbell on the emergency list for the first time.

The team will train in Adelaide on Friday morning before flying to Brisbane on Friday afternoon.

Interesting with McGregor. Hudson is obviously going to play, otherwise McGregor or Maric would've been named atleast on an extended interchange. I suppose the argument is that he has played one game in 6 months. He probably needs another run with the Eags.

I can't believe that Kenny never got a guernsey, although 1 SANFL game is not an ideal preparation for a tough game.

Now or never time for Jericho. A repeat of his performance in the pre-season GF would guarantee his delistment at the end of the year.

Alternatively a good game while showing that he actually has got some balls could kick start his stalled career.

Jericho started the season Ok, played a good game against Sturt but could have been a hero, instead missed a last minute kick for goal, since then he has dropped so low he only got 1 kick the other week.

Agree on all 3 counts. Lets hope he goes and proves the majority of us wrong and contributes. I am not expecting a 6 goal, 25 possession game from The Walls but just a good contribution to the side and maybe a couple goals too would be nice.

This is the query for me.....

If I see Kenny in the Ruck - I'm going to bust a vessel......

...especially when we're on a hiding to nothing....and it might be an opportunity to bring in Tippy or Ivan
