IMO he is no certainty to be retained, was rather puzzling how Pagan handled Smith's two games re: gametime then dropped him back to the bullants...

Sadly I think he will be delisted. Really gutless by the club, give him games with VERY LITTLE game time. Would be surprised if he got a total of 45 minutes playing time combined.
If we delist more than expected, I hope he is elevated. Unfortunately, I don't think this will be the case, and Jesse will be cut. Hope I am wrong though, the kid is talented. Maybe he will be cut and then re-rookied? He definitely deserves another chance.

I hope he is re-rookied. MO I would like to see 1 of Smith and Batson elevated, the other re-rookied. Due to our ruck shortage, I think Batson will be elevated. So that leaves Smith.

No one to blame. Just not up to snuff. Tried hard, but just didn't have the physical tools for the AFL. Will probably go to the SANFL and dominate.

2 years at carlton (on the rookie list) as we know.
smith is capable in the AFL.
bentick and smith both calder cannons players who work hard.
i think bentick was elevated from the rookie list? i am not sure.
give smith another year to prove he is something.
