In the car park Jesse sustained rib injury's so he won't be playing.
There is a bit of CCTV footage and at least one other Docker in attendance.

-considering Jessie was all set ready to go and set to rip the house down on the footy field and now the club president has come out with statements that could be preemptive damage control then maybe that CCTV footage could be interesting.

** when they say late night drinking session Mandurah hotel there is one Docker that immediately comes to mind. The one who has been rehabbing there for a few years.

I'm pretty sure I understand it mate. I know people with bipolar who fantasise about eating poison and have to talk themselves out of poisoning themselves but weirdly want to do it.

Some private schooled Claremont kid – yes, he has had some sad and confronting issues, but many people do – citing anxiety when he's always on the pingers, piss, and cigs is very hard to take.

Freo knew this video was leaking and wanted to try and get in quickly to undermine it.
You don't think being on the pingers, piss and cigs might have something to do with the mental illness... Considering in the last two years Jesse has lost his father AND faced a cancer scare himself maybe we could cut him some slack and just hope he gets better instead of trying to stick the boot in.

IMO if there’s CCTV footage, it would’ve come out by now, unless Ross/the club have paid someone hush money again. Absolutely embarrassing look for the club and Jesse and this video with his pants down in the Santa suit will be all the talk in the footy world until Round 1 kicks off on Thursday.

Every club has their moments but Freo's rap sheet over the past 2 -3 years with player and even coach indiscretions is virtually unrivalled.

If the Docker faithful aren't asking a lot of questions about their club and coach at the moment then you're absolutely kidding yourself.

As another Freo poster said, this is the more positive thread compared to the one on the Freo home page. As fans we don't get to make a whole lot decisions or even know the full story most the time but everyone is sick of Freo being more interesting to talk about off field than on.

I have heard that this is the latest in a string of "incidents" and has forced the club into a formal response - sad as Jesse has been through a lot

Pathetic how clubs use depression and mental health issues to try and downplay scandals. "Clinical anxiety"... pretty sure anyone could go to the doctors and get that diagnosis. The guy just likes partying with mates too much, nothing more to it than that, can't use anxiety as an excuse.

I was paraphrasing what Brad Hardie said on Perth Now regards the rib injury CCTV footage and other docker in attendance part.Peter Bell chimed in with the anxiety issues line after that went to air.

Your photo is Nat Fyfe in an AFLxx jumper.

You're giving way too much belief in the AFL.

More and more people are realising the crop of turd we supporters – who watch, buy tickets – have been fed.

Yet there's always the Kool Aid drinkers.

That's the comment you responded to, and this was your response:

"So like half the population can take the week off with mental illness then?"

Pretty sure I've understood just fine.

Everyone deals with issues. They are still expected not to be standing around with no pants on the week before a game on a substance.
I stand by my comment.

I suppose if a drunk driver with alcohol issues runs over one of your family members on the way home from a session you'll be offering them some support?

Probably not no. Bit of empathy wouldn't be bad though.
I couldn't give a rats toss bag what he wants to do with his life on weekends and in the pre season. But if you get caught you should face consequences like everyone else.

I don't buy the anxiety card and old mate abusing me won't make me be less suspicious of it.

That's because you're ignorant and have no idea how mental illness actually works.

The two arguments are not even close to correlating. How does a drunk driver running my family over, have any link with why they have the illness in the first place? Of course I'm not going to offer them the support, but what you're inferring, is that they shouldn't be offered any support at all if they take any substance.

This is pointless so I'm not going to continue, as you're clearly one of the 'get your shit together and get over it because everyone has problems', sort of people. There's a difference between being around mental illness and actually experiencing it.

Most people actually elicit empathy though, which you're clearly failing at.

There's something very suss about him getting outed for drinking too much piss and then supposedly having anxiety a few days later.

There is a video of him pinging off his head from what I assume is the weekend. I'm going to guess he's using the loophole players use.
If that video is from Saturday it had nothing to do with poor choices around "alcohol" consumption

I feel for the guy, he seems like a nice kid who has had to deal with more shit than most people even ten years older than him have to go through. Hope he can get through it and sort out his issues for both himself and his family.

Jaw would have been sore the following day. Hope he had some chewing gum
Yeah, I remember working casual and if I got on the piss I'd have to front up or get in the shit for calling in sick. I'd go to work and struggle through it.

And I got sworn at, not even talked to, and was treated like shit by customer, fellow staff, and bosses for the beautiful 25 bucks an hour and 0 sick or leave rates.

These campaigners take the ******* piss.
