The AFL trade site indicated that Fremantle and GWS have gone off for coffee together at the end of the day. Very interesting, but just can't see how we would be in a position to offer anything that passes pick 3# let alone any additional thing those crazy folk down at Melbourne FC will offer. Maybe we have another potential trade (mature age) with them??

I might easily be wrong, but I had thought there was 1 other pre-list option for GWS and that has now gone with Lee to the Saints.

We may try and upgrade our draft picks I guess.

Stringer has never been drafted though, so GWS wouldn't be able to pre-list him?

And as Gav said, pretty sure they lost their last pre-list trade on the Tom Lee/Saints trade.

And another Gav ditto... best we can hope for is that we trade our first rounder up a few notches to grab someone like Shaw or Stringer before they're taken. Else we'll be digging around with our second rounder trying to grab a KPP.

I can only hope Hogan does not become Watts 2.0, has so much talent.

While bitterly disappointed, it is not the end of the world. Strong draft, Gumby is still on the cards.
