I thought it was only the Richmond Brain Trust.
This made me laugh out loud, no wonder they dont have any Buddies.

Squiggle tips Hawks at 69% chance -- What's your tip? -- Injury Lists »
I thought it was only the Richmond Brain Trust.
I wouldn't be against trading morabito. He is uncommitted and not a very smart footballer. Morabito for mini draft pick one would be a great deal for us
Because of his injuries and the "unknown" factor of how he will recover, if that deal was on the table I would take it. But those injuries are exactly why that deal would not happen from a GWS point of view.

Martin's going to the Gold Coast for pick 2.
Bunch of ******* sillys
Bunch of sillys. They've bent us all over by not insisting and also by not allowing compo picks to used for father son so the tanking scum get to use pick 26 on Viney
But wouldn't Melbourne still have to use their normal 1st rounder if GWS/GC bid?
Can only hope that they all hate playing for those teams and want to go elsewhere.Gold Coast didn't bid. Viney is a Demon at pick #26...
Emma Quayle tweeting that Melbourne will use pick three to pick up Hogan. Allegedly.

Don't see why F/S bidding is done before trading of picks is finished...Could Melbourne now trade away pick 26 for say Dawes, and then just say okay we'll now have to take Viney with our new next available pick being the third rounder? Or assumedly pick 26 is officially locked in?

That about the only positive I can get from this. Not sure who the 2nd-3rd best KPF is that could fall to us if we maintain pick 16.Gold Coast didn't bid. Viney is a Demon at pick #26.
All in all, maybe it's not so bad. If the Bulldogs get Hogan with pick #5 or 6, perhaps it will allow one of the other KPF to slip to our first round pick.

Maybe the go now is to either upgrade our 16pick to increase our chances or trade a player\s or work towards getting another high first\second pick.
Been mentioned myabe trade for a compo pick by trading players to GWS.
I still think a KPF such as Shaw could be available for Freo at pick 16. Most of the top 20 picks are mids in an uncompromised draft.
