Imagine being a Richmond fan and thinking 1 on 1 battles is still a thing. Do you know what your team does well or do you just cheer mindlessly when it goes through the big sticks?
Imagine being a freo fan and thinking that a 195cm player taking a mark over Liam Baker 175cm was a contested mark and amazing effort from Hogan
FMD ............

Fremantle chairman Dale Alcock couldn’t confirm whether Jesse will be at Fremantle in 2021 or not after being asked the question directly.

Imagine trying to sound smart, but failing to understand what a contested mark actually is.

Imagine thinking that what champion data consider to be a real contested mark than 2 players actually contesting for the mark

Liam Baker v Jesse Hogan contested mark FMD

Something feels weird as * here. Is his professionalism really that dire? Is their cap space ****ed? Is it just Bell trying to make a power play? Have they got another key forward lined up?

The guy just doesn't have the professionalism and likes the 'pleasures' too much

so much talent but doesn't have what it takes off the field to get the best out of himself as a footballer

Sad Really

If he's enjoying his life does it really matter? He doesn't have to live up to your expectations.
Not at all but we are in the drafts/trades threads looking at his football ability and his value and thats what we are discussing
everybody is entitled to live their life as they want . But dont expect big pay at a professional environment if you cant meet required expectations

So 3 years ago? He's changed a lot since then. The days of "Hogan could be anything" are long gone, he's essentially a tall Tom Lynch (Adelaide).

Wasn’t it 2018 When kicked like 50 goals and had close to 20 touches and 6 marks. Looked like the next big thing?

he still has that talent. But he hasn’t produced. That’s the difference between “Upside” and performance.

I’ll agree to disagree on his upside.

Freo or bust I reckon.

Hard to see a non-WA club taking a punt on him with all the baggage.

Yeah, there are two sides who have had a good look at him up close - and both sides desperately need key forwards. He has a very record for a young KPF and Melbourne got rid of him and Freo don't want him. There might be another side who can get sucked in but he is done as an AFL player of consequence IMO.
