We're the number one source of most of the crap the AFL media spew.Haha. The afl media is more pathetic than us on bf
Agree.
I could see something like:
Freo: In Hogan, Out Pick 5
Adelaide: In Pick 5, Out Lever, Pick 36
Melbourne: In Lever, Pick 36, Out Hogan
Equates Lever to approximately pick 10
That's if anything is to happen this year.
WELL COLOUR ME SURPRISED WA MEDIA PEDDLING STORIES ABOUT WA PLAYERS COMING HOME
Last year the WA media was CONVINCED he would come home yet he signed an extension. His mother moved to Melbourne this year and it would make zero sense for us to be trading watts if Jesse is also on the way out.

You normally pay double for that kind of action.Easiest possible way for it to happen is a three way involving Lever who apparently is going to Melbourne.
Not sure how much longer Wally can keep catching fish .
can always do a paint job on all your critic's Wal....but leave the line out for awhile yet....this is not finished till mid weekWe'll see in a few weeks. I don't think he'll come but the WA media are running with it and I can see the reasons for it.
I now know what must of been like to be Adelaide all those years chasing Pavlich every time his contract was coming to an end.
And like the crows you’ll never get Hogan .
Yeah crows are no chance to get Hogan :^)And like the crows you’ll never get Hogan .

Hogan with two years left on his contract for pick 5 or an uncontracted Jake Lever?
Yeah, nah.
Freo would jump at 2 first rounders for Hogan. Melbourne won't be the slightest bit interested unless of course Hogan is seeking to get back to WA. Which I don't think he is.Could Freo part with 2 x 1st round picks for Hogan?
I reckon it's a chance. Pick 5 would have to bring the Lever trade back to 1 x 1st round pick.
Pick 5 & 27 for Lever, keep pick 10 and pocket next years 1st round Freo pick. Nice outcome.
Fremantle would never give pick 5 for HoganAgree.

Melbourne would never give Hogan for pick 5 alone. The price would be Freo's 2 first round picks minimum.Fremantle would never give pick 5 for Hogan

Pick 5, 2018 2nd round pick & Balic?
5 & 27 for Lever to the Crows
This means:
In: Lever, Balic, 2018 2nd round (~25)
Out: Hogan, pick 27
I assume pick ~25 in next years draft would be weighted around pick 12-15 this year.
We would want more from Freo for Hogan. Two first round picks minimum. We have him under contract and there is no need for us to trade him cheaply.
Lever may be viewed by some as a better player, but he is out of contract, so he is worth a lot less.
I agree on the relative value to Lever, but not on more than 2 x 1st round picks.
If Hogan has another flat year, his value will halve by the end of next season. If he intimates a return to W.A. one day, then now is probably the best time for the Dees to strike.
