i hate getting carried away, especially about any talent among our young blokes, but i thought white, used in small bursts, looked very tidy yesterday
and we might just have ourselves a genuine "big" young rising star
he looked bigger, stronger and far, FAR more composed than i expected he would, he looked very athletic for an obviously big body, he ran and chased, looked like he had good hand skills, and did not seem in the least bit intimidated or overawed
if dan currie has developed in the same way, and with LRT playing as well as he did yesterday, maybe all of us critics who questioned the club's recruiting tactics at 07 trade week will have to take back some of our negativity and focus on what we might just now have at the club ...

some very good young big guys

i agree he had some pace for his size and seemed to have a lot of confidence.
some of his moves in the ruck looked like spida had been doing some work with him.

I was lucky enough to be at the game yesterday and OMG was shocked when I saw the size of White. The kid is an absolute monster who moves well for his size. Don't like him at all in the ruck but would like to see him get some opportunities this year.

With the size of his guns.. it's hard not to be confident..lol..

He was quite impressive and very mobile for his size and did ok in the rucks considering the fact he had a crash course in ruck work..

why would you think a fight would break out?
i'd tell him: "go on, big lad, you're a champion, carn the swans"...and what? he'd take offence???
i'm as weak and cowardly as ... ummm ... a really weak and cowardly feller, i'm hardly likely to pick a fight with YOU, let alone that man mountain

he looks very mobile and skillful for a bloke his size.

a dead set animal he looks like!!
i want roosy to use him in the ruck so he can bust through packs and make players earn their possies!!!

i want him to have a hit list as well, targeting:
-a.hunter
-L.franklin
-n.riewoldt
-a.rocca

**feel free to add to the list**

there's far worse than aker
that quoit hunter, for starters, but karma will catch up with him
i'd like to see white stand up to the likes of tom hawkins, who the cats fans think is the new plugger but he strikes me as being a bit soft, or certainly a bit lazy
it's just great to think we might have our own new big guy to generate some excitement among our fans, and scare up some damp underpants among rival fans

With his size if it was at all possible to make it work, putting him in the forward line with Barry Hall would really scare the heck out of a lot of backmen and have opposition coaches scratching their bonces.

Imagine those 2 monster bodies spreading the packs.

geez, milne is a little parasite, isn't he
don't care about kerr, just want us to stop him when we play the weagles
but as for weagles players, hunter and chick were/are the two i despise most
the big q is overrated but does his best against us
as for players i'd like to see white steamroll, i'll go away from little blokes
and go for:
d milburn (cannot stand this bloke, AND he's overrated)
n bock (another of the most overrated players in the league)
b rutten (has earned his high rating coz he gets help from at least two other crows every time he plays on gun forwards, such as our baz)
lucas, lloyd or michael at essendon, or just for the sake of naming a little bloke, mchack's dirty, niggling older brother
d brogan (arrogant)
neitz, yeah, why not

exactly
and the likes of micky o, davo, ROK et al getting opportunities as defenders go to help on the twin towers
luckless doyle promised to be just such a pairing with baz but couldn't stay healthy
white promises height AND bulk, and he's got good hands

* I want him to smash Gehrig. Just Gehrig. Pummel him so bad that..well, just get him Jesse :)

EDIT: Why does everyone hate Hunter? He's one of my favourite non-Swan footy players.

you're SLIGHTLY taller than ms cross, that does NOT excuse you for dreadful taste
y'wonder why we hate adam hunter, apart from his match-winning efforts against us, check the tape of one of the 06 games against them, when he jostles an obviously injured micky o all the way to the boundary line, then from memory actually mouths off at him after micky o's left the field
he's a moron, a tool, a fckin bogan ... actually, he gives bogans a bad name
he's trash

Trash who plays extremely well :D

Micky O thing was in bad taste, and i do remember, but that doesn't label him a bad player, just a bad sportsman.

Ofcourse my favouuurite non-Swans player would be Jaames Bartel, i know you love him so :)
