Girls this is about jesse white, not about some ugly dude who stole the brownlow off gazza
Sacreligious!

Jesse White is an open prospect for us, tall enough, mobile enough, skilled enough. Can have a bit of fun with the way the team plays him, i guess.

No idea who he is. Will he play this year?

he's bigger and better than your tomahawk, for starters
and yes, i'm pretty confident we'll see him in the seniors, along with craig bird, sooner rather than later

If he does play Rd 1 lets hope it's as successful a debut as the last player to make his debut for the Swans in #18 against the Saints at the Phone Dome in Round 1
And over the course of his entire playing career lets hope it's altogether more successful than that same player

Yep yep yep on both counts.

Does this mean we might have White and Bird debuting for the Swans in round 1?

Fitzy.

James did wear no 18 for a while but initially had no 30, and that was the guernsey number in which he made his senior debut.

Fitzy kicked 5 goals on debut for the Swans against St Kilda at the Dome in round 1 2000.

yeah, that's right
i did think james wore No 18, and i got confused with 11 being the number of operations he had....which almost matched the number of games he played for us, i think

Shame where he ended up, after starting so well with us.

How many games do we think Jesse White will get this year ??

Really depends on how long Spida's injured.

The retirement of Stephen Doyle and the steady backing of Jolly provides an almost perfect environment to develop a ruckman. Roos would be kicking himself if he didn't.

Thanks for the reply...:thumbsu:

I personally know Jesse and spoke to his mum before the game against The Tiges on Thursday, she was very happy he was getting a game, it also looks like he should be in the line up for Round 1 if you ask me.

from what i have read, roos named white among 4-5 young blokes who played well

Is he a good kick for goal?
I haven't seen him play, but if he isn't it's just a chance wasted.

He played as a forward in last years NAB Series and kicked a few goals. Is a booming kick and accuracy looked to be quite good also. With Spider missing Round 1 he might be an outside chance for a debut early on.

Hopefully, because we've had both rucks pushing forward a lot more to kick some goals, although with a fit and full foward line it might not be needed.
