My record would be 10 times better than anybody else from this board in these competitions.
I guarantee you it is stupid to pick any injured players in your side for round 1.

NOt really fussed about your record mate, all it comes down to is luck, i had one of the best teams last year until all my players went down with injuries... Not much i could do there....
Also back to the point, you have 30 players right, right, only 22 play right, right, you realistically try and get as many certainties as possible to play round one, but having a couple of cheap spare players will not hurt, he is expected to be back by round 2-3 so i cant see him hurting your team too much, whilst he will probably go better than any other fiorst eyar player at the same price.... So instead of trying to make an easy 30K by picking up a first year player than trading him for Smith wasting a trade, why not keep a trade spare, when they are always needed late due to injuries and teams not playing their best list due to niggles and not being able to make the finals... And just take JWS at the start....
