He was on the TV screen at all times pretty much, his cardio has improved like crazy.
He is becoming what Daniel Wells should have by the looks of it :D
Also has the second best name in the AFL, Steele wins there.

This. At one stage he sprinted over 100m to recieve the ball. His workrate is through the roof. Last year I made a comparison that i thought he could be a similar type of player as Shaun Higgins, from what i saw tonight i think Jetta has more potential.

Essendon look a lot better side with him in. He and Davey are integral to your current setup. You have a quick run and gun game plan which suits Leroy to a tee. He is not a penetrating kick but in Knights system and how Jetta plays, with slick short skills, he should continue his form. I see another topic doesnt have him as an automatic conclusion. Jetta is in your top 15 with the system you work in, fast, outstanding skills and applies good pressure when you turn it over in the forward 50. If he gets dropped I dont see anyone on your list who has his skill set other than Davey and you need both playing IMO.

Great to see him make it always loved his skill set but from what I saw in the past he didnt have the confidence. He actually reminded me of another indigenous Essendon player Russell Williams, great guy Russell, just wish he knew how good he was. If I was to be critical of Jetta it would be he probably should have kicked 5 last night. Didnt make the distance from the 50 and passed off when within 40 twice, you ended up with a goal so it doesnt matter. As he is in my dreamteam I would rather him kick it! LOL.

By the way he is out of contract soon is that right? He would look fantastic in purple, does he want to come home to WA?

absolutely great to see him put some really good games together and with Davey has been a key reason to our improvement over the last month. His speed, tackling and pressure has been terrific and his second and third efforts are something i don't remember from his early games. huge props to him considering most (including many bombers) had written him off and he obviously has worked extremely hard on his fitness but better still his attitude seems to be spot on.... well done leroy keep it up

He is not a penetrating kick

I actually think the opposite.
I've been on his wagon pre-draft but one thing that has surprised me over the last couple of weeks is his ability to roost the footy.

Put his goal kicking to side, he gets a lot more distance on the ball when kicking long on the run, than I thought he could.

He actually reminded me of another indigenous Essendon player Russell Williams, great guy Russell

Off topic, but I've heard the distinct opposite.

A lot has changed for Jetta over the preseason. Not only has he torn up the training track, but he became a father. I think the penny may have dropped.

It is obvious he and Ryder share a special bond, and having the opportunity to play together has really sparked each others season. Lets hope it's more of the same for both of them.

3 fantastic games in a row from the Jetski! This kid has improved enourmously!

Really wrapped for him and proud I never stopped believing he could make it - it is round 10 though, 12, 13, 14, 15 maybe even 16 more weeks like this please Leroy :p

sorry boys, but he is not an "A grade" crummer, one good game doesnt make a player, and while he was involved well last night, there were still basic skill errors (centering kick to 50 for example) he may develop into a good player, but will never be A grade player, he was taken at pick 18 2006, and has only played 30 odd games

I'm struggling to find the words "A grade" except in this post.

but will never be A grade player, he was taken at pick 18 2006, and has only played 30 odd games

Should we delist him now, or wait until the end of the season?

you don't have to apologise for a dumb, wrong opinion, that's ok. It's expected

well no, so after some good games he is automatically going to be an A Grade player, his previous 28 games yeilded great results didnt they???
ave disposals = 9.43
ave goals = 0.68

really A grade :thumbsu:
and so you disagree that he may develop into a good player??? because im pretty sure that was in my opinion

whatever three then, still that doesnt make him an automatic gun....

what so you are going to delist all players which wont become 'A Grade players"? you will have to get rid of half your team

So half our team will become A graders? Cool, lock in at least 3 premierships in a row then. :):)

Edit: beat me to it.
