I've recently taken a couple of trips to Highpoint as I had managed to crack my Apple watch screen and took it up there for servicing - to make the most of the trips I did other shopping and completed my collection of these mini puzzles

And by tiny they're just 9cm x 11cm - after buying them I decided that they could become mini display pieces by buying some photo frames. It's been bloody difficult to find suitable frames at not stupid prices, and the best option looks to be the plain white standard size frame from Kmart

Now I just need a house where I can hang dozens of standard size photo frames, displaying my collection of random mini puzzles 😂

I'm slowly making progress on my 1500 piece puzzle - I finished sorting last month & made a start on the border. I was very impressed with myself for getting all the border pieces correctly set aside the first time sorting without needing to go back to find any; I normally struggle to do this with a 1000 piece puzzle

After a couple of weeks break I tonight nearly finished the internal borders; I missed 3 of those pieces in my first sort

I'm hoping this will now be easier to work on as I can treat this as 17 mini puzzles

Another progress update - it's not too bad putting the mini puzzles together, though I'm realising my sorting of images wasn't necessarily on point... Hence the gaps

Our Christmas puzzle was the 1000 piece Ravensburger Christmas Market. Just managed to finish it in time but it's missing four pieces. We were suspicious because the inner bag was split when we opened the box and there were some loose pieces. We've never lost a puzzle piece before so we're pretty sure it wasn't us after a thorough search.

Never had that happen before. I could follow up with them I guess but it isn't that important. Just a surprise from a Ravensburger.

I would reach out to them - email or even via socials, cause while I haven't had issues with their puzzles I've read from others who have and they've been good in response

Yes it’s a bit disappointing. I once had a puzzle with two pieces missing from a brand new sealed puzzle , oh well.

You could get some cardboard and make some replacements as a project.

My latest puzzle came with a form just in case pieces were missing.

A couple of months back I bought a puzzle by Enjoy and upon opening it I found a warranty card inside - you create an online account with them to register your product and can reach out if you have any issues

A couple of years ago I did the Hinkler Mindbogglers Puntastic TV Shows puzzle - the idea being to complete the puzzle and then work out the 100 TV shows hidden within the image as depicted via visual puns

The puzzle image matched the box image but I couldn't work out the last few TV show puns so I looked at the answer sheet which listed not just the shows but also a copy of the image to reference what the images matched. This is where I ran into problems as that answer sheet was slightly different to my completed puzzle with more detail than I had

I reached out to Hinkler online (public socials), shared photos of the images and got a response pretty quickly that there had been a printing error and they'd send me a new puzzle - my new puzzle was of Neuschwanstein Castle, so something different

I don't think I could buy a Hinkler puzzle, it would be too triggering :p

Just ordered the Ravensburger "Six Portals" from amazon UK (via amazon AU) which looks stunning. I'm hoping that despite the piece count the fact that it's in six (reasonably) distinct sections (and two inner bags) might help. Currently a small discount for BF too.

For those who don't have room for the 7000 piece version

Completed, photographed and already packed up - the definition in the puzzle wasn't as clear as in the picture on the box which made things difficult at times

This is the next box I grabbed to do

My slightly late Xmas theme

I decided to try the colander trick for shifting out puzzle dust from a new puzzle - only issue is I dropped more than a few pieces in the garden, so hoping I found them all

Next time I'll take more care when upending the bag 😂

My week spent on 3 puzzles.

The Odyssey - great puzzle going through the tale. Not too hard.

Hummingbirds - expensive jigsaw that cost $700. Not worth it, but completed

A Japanese Garden - more a bitch. Every piece the same shape (2 out/2in on opposite sides). About 100 pieces just shades of black, so brute forcing the only option.

All 3 1000 pieces

All 3 1000 pieces
They are incredible Nothing!
I'm gobsmacked or flabberbasted if I was Robbo.😛

Did your family help, or did you actually complete 3 x 1000 in a week??😯🫢🙀

Bloody genius!

Here is one of mine...I found it peaceful to look at, so framed it. Only time I've ever done that, and I still like looking at it.🙂
