Was not sure about him for the first 2 seasons - but it shows how wrong you can be. Gun player. I really like versatile and hard players - and he is both.

Congratulations and trust you have another 100 left in the tank.

Favourite player.

Exceptional footballer and top bloke.

Would turn for

hard to believe he's achieved all this and still only 27 years of age! I look at Lenny Hayes who is still regarded as the finest midfielder today although Jimmy is an overall better player, he's still got another 4 to 5 years with us.
I reckon my favourite moment would have to be the most recent goal he kicked against Collingwood to put us infront from about 45 metres out in round 8 and the look on his face was priceless:D was such a great moment, his look was like 'what else did you expect me to do Magpie fans'

A person of the highest character and a true ornament to the game.

Well done Jimmy congratulations on 200 fantastic games with many more to come

With hopefully another one of these soon

x1000!

Great job Jimmeh!

Bell park boy does good!

Cant think of a better overhead mark for his size. A complete footballer.... You can always judge a player's value by the opinion of his peers...and of friend and foe alike, I doubt you'd find one that wouldn't want him by their side.....enough said... Cue the applause and take a bow Jimmy...

Well done Jimmy. Wonderful player with superb foot skills and great hands! And I would suggest one of the most popular players in the competition.

Universal respect for a club champion.

Some interesting facts:
In 2009 Gazza played his 150th game at AAMI stadium against the crows and we essentially won the flag. Will Jimmy's milestone game at the same stadium against the same opponent be a hint?
Also in 2007 Josh Hunt played his 99th game at the GF and in 2009 Joel Corey played his 199th game at the GF. We won both of them. In 2008 Corey Enright played his 150th game at the GF and oddly we let the dark horse win.
This year if we win both qualifying and preliminary final, Travis Varcoe will play his 100th game at the GF, unless he misses one of six remaining matches. So will Chirs Scott superstitiously withdraw Varcoe for one of them?

Nearly forget, Wojo needs to play all 6 remaining matches so he can line up for his 199th game at the GF.

Congratulations to Jimmy. One of my favourite players outside of Essendon. An absolute champion of your club! Would love to have him at Essendon.

I guess it was normal for her to suggest hanging it the bedroom ;) I'd even put it there.

Champion player, Champion bloke, Champion club man! Perfect week to sign the dotted line and finish your career where it all started. Would love him to make 300 games!

I love Jimmy Bartel so much I would empty his vacuum cleaner bags by hand just so he doesn't have to buy new ones. Champion bloke.
There must be something allegorical in the vacuum cleaner bag reference but I can't quite put my finger on it. ;)

There are a truck load of pics of Jimmeh on the Addy website.
