His breakeven is hovering very close to the scores he was consistently getting before the concussion and especially against the doggies i was thinking that now is the time to pounce for those that do not have the little gun...

I have 5 trades left but would have to use 2 to trade petterd from emergencies and place that hack hasleby on my bench

Thoughts?

He is clearly carrying an injury other than concussion. Why would you pick up a player that looks like he is carrying a groin injury.

Much better options

I'm not sure about having someone like Haselby on the bench. What I mean is keep him or upgrade him but I don't see the point of having someone like him on the bench. With the cash you get from Petterd upgrade Haselby next week.

Is Bartel carrying a groin injury? Hadn't heard that before?

Well there is something which has significantly reduced his time in the middle and it isn't concussion. You may miss a week for precautionary reasons but concussion does not affect your performance 2 weeks later.

He is definitely not 100% and hasn't looked 100% since we played Brisbane in round 12.

Hows his TOG been in the last 3 weeks since he's been injured.

I can't find it anywhere on the net.

If he's playing 90+% of TOG, i'd select him. if they're nursing him through the rest of the season i wouldn't.

Hasleby will be there as an insurance policy. Better to have mediocre scores from him if need be then a zero which petterd will rack up. Plus if any of my mids were to go down with 2-3 week injuries Haze will fill in wheras petterd wont and it wont be worth using another trade to get som1 better who i wont be using on the field

He spent a bit of time on the bench cos he copped a knocked to the head.... i saw him at the supermarket and he was sporting a black eye !!!!

I asked him about the knock... " it looks worse than it is !!!!"... i tell ya something !!!!! this guy is fit....don't worry about that !!!!

I think you're right. His game time was reduced because of that knock he had not because they were giving him a lighter load because of his concussion.

So is he really injured? Would Kornes be a safer option?
TOUGH ONE.

bartel is probably carrying a niggle which could restrict him but if not is a freak dter

kornes is usually a freak dter but has been tagging really well, and may get more lock down roles nullifying him a bit

about the same risk

So why has he started on the HF line the last few weeks? If fit he clearly belongs in the middle

I reckon that this is the week Jimmy gets a ton. He copped a knock to the very head he had concussion with and still managed a respectful 87. he is a gun
