Listen Teriyakicat.

I know you have been going along at a nice posting clip the last year. 25,000+ posts in 12-13 months is reasonable going.

But I want to set you a proper target. I would like to see 100,000 posts by Xmas 2016.

Go for it. :)

A lot depends on that ruddy elbow of Jimbob's I'd say. It's never really been the same.

There is a silver lining in every cloud. More young kids get time in the seniors, and Jimmy will hopefully come back fresh to finish off the season.
Get him crazy fit and bring him back after the bye :thumbsu:

It would be fitting if Boris finished his career as record games holder for the club.
2× Carji Greeves Medal (2009, 2011)
3× AFL Premiership (2007, 2009, 2011)
5× All-Australian team (2008-2011, 2013)

Reports of Enrights demise are greatly exaggerated. He had a career high number of tackles against the pies on the weekend. I am happy for enright to continue running around for us whilst he is able to find the form he's in at the moment.

As I mentioned on another thread, he achieved a rare feat against the Pies…the quadruple double…

Double figures in kicks, marks, handballs and tackles. Only been achieved very rarely.

Sign him up!

As long as he is back to play when Enright plays his 300th I will be happy.
Hopefully against Demons at KP…..

I have access to the player warm ups… :D:D

Could be an epic experience….

Go Catters

Would love if he played on, but I've heard from more then a few people close to him he wanted out at the end of last year. Would be surprised if he went another, not saying the ability wouldn't be there, but the want may be lacking.

Could be back in 4 weeks :)
Probably just his optimism but fingers crossed!

The Addy has a similar article in which Jimmy pretty much says he is going to take the risk because he isn't planning for the next 5 years.

“I’m probably fortunate in a way that I am so old that I don’t have time on my side,” said Bartel, who is one of a large group Geelong veterans out of contract at season’s end.

“I’m not planning for the next five years.

“I’m rip it or bust. I’m trying to get back as soon as possible, and if there’s a little bit of pain, well, so be it.”

(btw- 4-5 weeks from the interview, is still 6-7 weeks from the date of the injury).

Jimmy's in hospital following an infection in his knee.

Geelong midfielder Jimmy Bartel has been diagnosed with an infection in his left knee and will be in hospital for the next two days.

Bartel underwent surgery on the knee following the Cats round three win over Gold Coast. Initially he was expected to return in 8-10 weeks, however the infection will see his return delayed by approximately two weeks.
