I picked him pre-rd 1. Although I never expected him to score as well as he has done. I chose him thinking he would be one of my more 'unique' choices (as opposed to Kornes, Cross, Bruce, Scotland etc who were the 'dt gods' or gun mids).
He had performed well over the last few years, and I was hoping he would continue this. Turned out to be one of my picks of the year.

Picked him to be my DT captain for the whole season (it was between he, Judd and Kornes).

Hoenstly would've been happy with his 2006 avg (99 I think) considering my shit captain average last year (low 80s).

Never had him.

I wonder how many will buy him at the beginning of next year. Judging by J.Brown's price earlier this year you'd have to say he'd be well over the $450,000 mark.

Have had Jimmy for the past 3 years ever since i have entered this competition, his spot is never in doubt and is always captain. U make a good point i bet u at least half the people who have him didnt even know who he was at the start of the year. its surprising seeing he averaged 98 last year. Go Jimmy u bloody champion, i put 50 on him for the brownlow, get on him!!!:D

Got him for about 410k. Was expensive, but I had heaps of spare change and Dal Santo was in a massive form slump. Worth every penny.

2005 - picked him in breakout year and served me well
2006 - thought he was overpriced and didnt pick him due to the cats inconsistency, concentrated my cash in other areas
2007 - Never got him this year, should have known the cats were going to be BIT this year and got him. Lesson learnt.
2008 - Will pick him up if (not when) his price drops below $400k, problem is i cant see that happening!!!

Got him when he bottomed out. Knew he'd do well but not as well as he has. Lucky all guns typically have a bad week that makes them affordable at some point.

The one I'm real upset over is Corey. Persisted with him last year expecting he would have the kind of year he is having this year. Lost the faith, and didn't pick him up for 07.
