How good would it be if Poholke slotted straight in and Jake Lever'd his way into the best 22. Pretty much has exactly the attributes we are missing in the midfield. Inside bull while finishing top 10 repeat sprint and clean hands at the combine.

JJ too as had a late start to the season & give us a chance to look at Dear.

Expect 1 of the ruckmen to drop out. I would play both Jacobs & ROB, giving them half a game each. Hunter can get a go later.

Don't know that any of our youngsters are "a lock" at this stage. He's probably one of the front runners for a position though.

I thought we'd put out a stronger squad than the ones guessed at on here, as you need some structure of regular players around which to operate or the whole attempt at modelling the in-season playbook just falls apart and you get nothing from the game.

That said, the squad is a lot stronger than I thought. I assume this is because we've seen Richmond is putting out a strong team and so we have to go even stronger than normal for a pre-season game to keep the ability to run the setup we want.

Should be a good preview for the season.
