I've seen enough. We're fine.

Put the cue in the rack. Get Crouch x2, Betts and Sloane on ice. Result irrelevant.
Nah, I reckon go hard for the win here, especially seeing this is one of the hardest road trips we face. Don't give the impression we could be really vulnerable to bursts

Can see why Jones is in the team... just understands the game, seems to have more time than everyone else when he has ball at hand (sign of a good player). His defensive pressure is very very good and probably why he's got a game over our othdr younger kids.
Is there a go home factor with Tasmanians.

If we're vulnerable to bursts with our best 22 in a game for points I will be concerned. In a trial game where our opponents are playing 24 players on full rotations, and we're playing 22, I don't care.

Was nice to see the umps finally recognising the holding on Sloane, for once. The Crouches done some nice things.

Really liked the pressuring we did on the commentary wing toward the end of that quarter with the Giants trying to get the ball to their forward line. We just kept closing in and pressuring and causing the eventual turnover. Promising against their quality.

For those wondering about the conditions, they're perfect. Temp in the low 20s, no wind at all, no dew or rain to make the ball slippery.

Handling errors are the fault of the players, not the ground or weather.

** Yes, I'm at the ground.

Every side is vulnerable to them, just because AFL is a burst game, however, there is value in giving the impression you're not vulnerable. Belief is not something you want opposition to have.

Leon Cameron mic'd up is cringe.

Jones is a lock for round one.

Can't wait for the day he and McHenry play together, tackle fest.

Crouch boys working well together.

Sauce and Tex both struggling in their primary role. But both ok in general play. Tex with his quick hands and Jacobs has been important as that bail out a few times.

Hartigan better that second.
Talia nit missed a beat.

I reckon this is a good game to have as a trial game. GWS clogging us up but can also burn you on the counter. Two things we struggle with, but working through it.

Some credit for our young players goes to our development (eg Doedee in his 3rd year here runner up in Rising Star) but it's so early for Jones. He's pure Hamish at this stage. All credit to the guy who called his number.
