Hoping to see;

- Forwards working together to ensure there is space to lead into. Less running into each other's areas.
- Midfielders lowering their eyes and looking for those leads.
- More composure/less bombing of the ball in general play.
- More uncontested possession/control of play.
- More game time for Bewley, perhaps off a back flank.
- Fyfe, Darcy, Schultz and McCarthy.
- Cerra in the midfield.
- No injuries.

INS; Fyfe, Conca, Darcy, McCarthy, Schultz, Nyhuis, North (or Crowden if North not ready)

OUTS; Mundy, Brayshaw, Jones, Taberner, Switkowski, Logue, Ballantyne

Too many changes? Not really. It is pre-season, and players deserve an opportunity.

On a serious note, will be an interesting test - really keen to see how the forwards and midfield adjusts from yesterday, particularly given how easily we've allowed McGovern and Hurn to murder us off half back since what's increasingly seeming like forever.

I think Ballas should play JLT2 on the condition he puts himself in a situation where the selectors can't select him for Rd 1.

edit - whoops... not sure I was supposed to reply to your post ;)
Its Bizare that a convicted thug who is still suspended can line up against the team he transgressed against...doesn't seem right because it isn't and think thats why im getting fired up about..
Im thinking about inviting the burglar who stole my 60inch television back around for a couple of beers and ask him what he thinks about the new 80 inch one

Want to see 4 things:

Handle the Eagles forward line tactics better than we have in recent years.

Competitive in the midfield.

Decent ball movement.

Pressure point Gaff’s eye out. Tobe Watson can do the honours.
Lets say we can do this; would it really be a good idea? It's JLT2. Nothing to gain by showing your hand, unless maybe for 5 minutes or something.

I was under the presumption that they will probably rest Hogan for this game and play McCarthy instead?

SO what we've all been wanting for the last 4 years, but Ross does not believe in?

Just quietly how fantastic is young Andrew Brayshaw? Absolute class act. Compare him to the guy that clocked him and it is chalk and cheese in terms of their character. Can't believe how sooky Gaff is... he has had so much opportunity to come out and do something proactive (eg stand up against violence) and instead he just cowers in the shadows and seems to just cross his fingers it will all go away. Meanwhile the supporters of that mob still treating him like a victim in all this. "It must be so hard for him, with what he had to endure"... FFS, one is a young guy coming into his second season acting like a true leader, and the other supposedly an experienced campaigner... well they got the campaigner bit right. You're weak Gaff, you should have got on the front foot and used your stupidity to set an example that there is no excuse for violence but you did ZERO! Pathetic and yet another example of a team that cares about nothing but success on field. Ok, just realised my post is not so quietly :)

Really want to see how North and Schultz would go playing against an AFL opposition, if not then no point tuning into this game. JLT1 was enough of an indicator on a few things.

Suspect many WC fans admire what Gaff has overcome.
