I think North deserve a fair bit of respect for their stand on pokies. For a club with their financial history some low hanging pokie fruit must take a fair chunk of ethical resolve to resist.

Meh, out of one pocket into another. They get whatever they need to stay afloat as a handout from the AFL's rich club tax anyway, so not like they're taking a grand stand and suffering financial hardship because of it. Some of that rich club tax probably comes from pokies anyway.

Been giving away a lot of brainfade free kicks and his disposal has been awful. Not sure what is going on with him but we need him to find form. Will be starting down at East Perth on what we have seen so far which is a backward step from where he was early last year.

He seemed to get lost a fair bit in the Freo scratchy so it is a concern if he isn't getting the new structures/gameplan.

Honestly I think we just need to give Nelson a run in the twos and let him find his feet again. Bloke just isn't playing with confidence right now. It happens to young players.

Yeah i agree. He showed in 2015/16 he was capable enough but kept getting injured when given a decent run. Last year he was just so average after his wrist injury early in the year.

Get him to get back to basics and play him in one role and see how he goes and if shows improvement bring him in.

I think that the wing would be the perfect position for Nelson, been thinking that since before his 1st injury last year, perhaps he's just not suited to be a defender. Far from a lost cause imo, I hope they start him there in the WAFL. He was tried as a mid in the WAFL a few years ago iirc.

Annoying this is they try him there for one game and then just put him back again.

Edit: I also got suspended for asking what mod monday was on mod monday.

I used a rather nasty analogy because victorian collingwood and richmond supporters were pissing me off. I made the analogy that they were better off playing at the mcg because they do it all the time as opposed to us who rarely get to play there. My analogy for it used his mother and that although there were a 100 guys who had slept with her, him and his dad would be much better at it as the other guys had only been there once where as they had done the job 100's of times.
