He's basically the replacement for Priddis. Now let's see....he's faster, can both spoil and mark overhead. is a good kick, great handball and hard. Priddis couldn't so any of this BUT he knew how to read the play (albeit at a slow pace). There's very chance we may be ahead on that transition.

Whilst a lot of people seem to be throbbing over AhChee as an inside mid (understandable if it works out) i personally will be super stoked if he becomes a Toby Greenesque X factor HFF that kicks goals and can have a spell through the midfield

Technically Parto is an inside mid but needs a bit more size so is playing outside until then. I reckon he'll end up like Neale.

Yep, I shouldn't post if I'm into the wine. Obviously Priddis has been good for the club during his time. In my mind I thought I was just stating the plus factors Ah Chee could bring as opposed to the bits we were missing with Priddis who was at the end of his career.... hence the reference to chance. Didn't come out right tho.

Nah, gaff will go when it’s his turn. He just works so hard on the outside to provide an outlet. Lewis Jetta is far more outside.

Agree that there’s not a great deal of similarities though- apart from both being lefties.

Yes that's correct, some people just don't understand our team tactics. When Masten gets caught holding the ball on the wing or kicks it out of bounds on the full, the opposition then kicks the ball forward where McGovern marks it and then kicks it to the wing that Masten isn't on, thus giving us the chance to score.
Every now and again whilst running up and down the wing away from his opponents because he's no good at tackling, Masten hits one of his targets in the forward line, which again confuses the opposition.

So how likely is this to sell out? I really can't remember what pre-season games against lowly supported WA teams are like at these small grounds. Most of the time would just rock up to the Subi game, guaranteed free entry on membership. Only ever booked a ticket for the Freo preseason games.

It is a magical land - a floating bubble of suspended reality, inflated hopes, of shiny football dreams and over-ripened expectations (or am i just speaking for myself?), before the first pin-prick of disappointment, the NAB/JLT, starts letting the hot air escape...then rounds 1, 2 and 3..and BAM we're back in reality, groundhog day, that same old-same old feeling again?
Well, that's how it used to be...
This season's expectations have firmed more since the draft/trade, even if it wasn't what we all expected, with the likes of Rioli, Ryan, Ahchee, Venables, amongst other newbies, the return of NN+Lycett, the hoped-for improvements of Redden, Duggan, Barrass and Sheed.
Masten not selected in this JLT 22, means he's being cotton-woolled for the really best 22? or the Freo game, saving the best for last!

I wanna see shuey yeo and archee in at a lot of centre bounces . That is some serious leg speed out of the guts ! Have jetta çoming off the back of the square as the spitter would be great too .
We had such a plodding on ball brigade last year with pritchell it will be nice to see some pace .
