Robbo has a thing implanted in his chest which would have told them what happened with his heart during the time he was feeling off.

Like the computer thing in the engine of modern cars which you can check later to see what was happening with the engine, an hour, a day, a week, or whenever ago, if it hadn't been running properly. It will tell you what had been going on.

If it showed any irregularity there would be a problem, but if it showed that there was no irregularity with his heart at that time he was feeling off, then it would be good news, and a very good sign that there's nothing to be particularly concerned about.

They would still need to do follow-up tests, just to be safe, but if the thing in his chest showed no irregularities, it would I imagine be an extremely good sign that it's all clear.

Not a guarantee by any means, but an extremely good sign.

Robbo’s problem is obvious and as you say easy to check. Paddy’s is completely different and they wouldn’t have all the information yesterday and most likely even later in the week. He also has to make decisions.

That explains why he was seen leaving Moorabbin Ultra Tune this morning...

Ok if you say so. Can I ask why lethers would lie
Perhaps neither are lying.

Perhaps stavro#4 has a contact who knows that everything has come up clear so far and has relayed that. Perhaps that person doesn't realise there's one or 2 more hoops to jump through before Robbo gets the all clear....

Then, perhaps Lethers also knows everything has come up clear but doesn't want to announce anything until all test results are finalised and a certain period of time has passed...

Maybe Lethers is just looking out for Robbo's mental welfare and trying to let the dust settle before addressing that he is done and never playing again...

Who knows? Maybe it's just not all black and white

Only to a pedant

Seems a fairly major detail to me and I’m sure robbos friends who may not have been able to speak to him. Same goes for paddy. I suppose I shouldn’t be worried after all it’s only a brain and heart. Their legs and arms are fine.

I didn’t make the initial black and white statement about it being ok. I’m actually saying there is grey and fair bit of it. And the statement was made about paddy as well. I can actually understand robbo because he has something to monitor him. I’m doubting the brain is that simple to monitor.

Can we all just let it go?

We’ll know when we know.
With all this speculation we might as well have Tom Brown on the board.
My head hurts and I fear for my sanity.
I might have to ban myself for some peace.
I feel your pain.

Maybe we need a gender quota on here because sounds a lot like Canberra at times.

I'm doubting that your simple brain has ever been monitored!

Sorry Plugs! Couldn't help myself! :p

I’ll confess, my head genuinely hurts and I’ve barely had a voice for two days ( to the joy of my family) but this constant bickering and never-ending debate is definitely not helping.o_O

I thought we were talking about paddy and Robbo. He also said they were waiting on the results but you say he had the results. Why let people suffer if it’s good news. Makes no sense.
Lethers made the comments about waiting for test to come back at around 7am in the morning.
Starvo made his comment about the tests coming back all positive in the PM.
Maybe, just maybe, the test result weren't out first thing in the morning but by the afternoon they had.

By which time he had been released from hospital, which I'm guessing they did after those initial results came back, positive.

No worries. Good that they are both certain round one but to be honest I think we are a better side without paddy but that’s just me. Robbo is a huge plus and fantastic for both their health.

I was expecting that response. You must love giving it and I look forward to your reply after mine. One comes from a unpaid person before the club even know as leathlean has said. Fact. The other, mine. Comes from me after I texted jack and then got a positive reply. Now you can choose to beleivene or not. That is your choice. Doesn’t matter either way. With the other I’m not even doubting they said they should be fine. What I’m doubting is the idea that anyone knows yet because of the reasons given. If people want to believe it then fine I’m just pointing the stupidity of believing it. And what is ok anyway. They will live? I would certainly think so. They will play round one? To me ok in a footy sense means yes. The players don’t even know that. On my assumption that jack will be fine was in response to him missing long term. He won’t from my understanding. Anyway you most have loved picking it up. Hope my response explains the difference
That's not my point.

My point is that you are quick to discredit anyone else if they have information but when you do it, people should believe you?

It's a bit hypocritical don't you think?
