Glenelg SANFLW midfielder Jo Miller has been a train-on player at the club in the pre-season after impressing with the Bays in 2024 and has a background as a triathlete who represented Australia.

The 25-year-old averaged 23 disposals, six clearances and 10 tackles per game after making her SANFLW debut in Round 6.

“While we’ll miss Indy this season, once we knew that she wouldn’t be able to play this year, it was important to the club that she be given the time she needs to get her knee right for next season,” said Head of AFLW Shane Grimm.

“This has allowed us to give Jo an opportunity to be elevated to our playing list after she has spent recent weeks training with the group at Alberton.

“Jo is a highly accomplished athlete who we know can come into the side and contribute immediately if called upon.”
