Anyone think Jobe should be given another chance now that he's got that first game out of the way? Surely he should be given as much experience as possible to put him in good stead for next year.

Be great to see him actually get a kick and pick up some confidence, but who on earth do we drop for him ?
I'd like to see him play, but really, if his last name wasn't Watson then there's a few others who deserve a spot in front of him, based off of VFL form. Cory McGrath has been among the best in the VFL for 6 weeks now, he deserves the spot more than Jobe at the moment.

We cant afford to carry any players like we carried Jobe against Geelong and with Misiti and Deano out we certainly need to bring in a player with some experience.
Cory McGrath or Barnard.

when jobe plays through the midfield alot of people have compared his style to misiti's.. maybe he'd be the logical replacement whilst joey recovers from injury?
still, i think barnard would probably be the right type of player to bring in over the next couple of weeks - adelaide and the lions like the physical stuff so we need a player that can dish it out a bit

Agreed next two weeks will be physical and Jobe is a good replacement for Joey, who mind you was starting to play some really good footy - not that anyone would notice.
Barnard is just too stupid for words and his worth could only be king hitting both Scott boys - now that I would pay to see. Against Adelaide he would be too slow, plus perfect chance for Jobe simply because no media attention in Adelaide- all they are concerned with over there is when McLeods next dump is.

cory mcgrath and barnard are ****ed. Mcgrath has had his chances and is now 24. Its time to drop him or trade and play the younger guys who have a chance to develop. Barnard is too old aswell, play richards in front of him who plays the same and it will be far better for the club.
