well good luck with it, it's taken me about 50 applications and only getting responses back from about 5, 2 resulting in interviews which i was sucessful in luckily coz it gets damn tiring just trying to get a reply let alone an interview from some of these bl00dy places that advertise.

The job that i got yesterday was off the seek.com site that is full time but if u want casual u can specify just casual on most of the job sites. Everyone wants experience but so unless u got it in something they dont wanna kno u.

Like spidey said, I've applied for about 50 jobs in the last 3 weeks and only heard back from a handful. 3 Interviews last week, haven't heard back.

Unfortunately, it seems that you have to know someone who needs somebody to get a job these days. Otherwise, it's a slow, painful process.

Try the casino. They are desperate and they pay well.

Griffith...

Apparently word here and one of it's major selling points of GRIFFITH NSW is it's low rate of unemployment.

With all the wineries, and fruit picking...There's always casual/temp work here...

We often get sexy, exchange, backpacker types through town all the time...TRUE...!!! Swedes, Germans, yada yada yada...

My fiancee was here only 5 days and landed full-time work at a winery...

Other than that...We don't get channel 10 and there's not much else to do but surf BigFooty.com all day!

A Current Affair...

A few weeks back, ACA featured a story on networking...

It simply ran with the theory of...Find a job that you'd love to do and begin networking...

By Networking you simply talk and talk and delve and quiz and weazel your way into a job that you like...

Call family, friends, old schoolmates, past accquaintances, especially those in the field that you are interested in...Talk, Talk and talk...

Ask questions, who knows what may eventuate...They featured a bloke who really loved footy and landed a job with the VFL thru networking...They also mentioned that so many jobs are in the hidden and unadvertised market...

Do a bit of voluntary work here and there...It leads to so much more later down the track...Plus furnishes your CV neatly too...
