Jock in the NFL???

Not many know that Jock was honoured from a very unlikely source. After retirement, which was sadly too short-lived, Jock moved from Brunswick to live in enemy territory, Essendon. As a kid I lived there and the street just opposite my school was named in his honour, McHale Crt.

Sorry to burst your bubble but I think the naming of that court was because Jock Jr owned a large property there and created the court as part of its sub-division? Let's not give Essendon any undue credit.
