whether you think it's a poor excuse or not, you really think Essendon are actually going to do anything without him? They can barely win with him in the team let alone with him out. They may scrape into the 8, that would be about it. Absolutely no chance of winning a final unless they suddenly start playing amazing football which looks very unlikely.
There's nothing wrong with accepting facts.
Maybe a positive for jake. More opportunities and space. Midfielders passes could be better.

We have far more than 2 injuries, although have a few coming back this week but you are right.
Good teams cover injuries, just like Richmond have been doing but we aren't a good team so injuries to good players hurts us a fair bit.

could be wrong but I don't see it happening again this year. Teams have had longer to work them out and it's a very tough season with regards the ladder. Of course they could do it but again they didn't make the finals even if they did player better.
s**t news really. Fact is when fit he’s a gun and one of the best key forwards in the league. And not only are we missing out on what he can do now, I’m certain all these disruptions are lowering the level he can reach eventually.
Josh Kennedy and Lance Franklin have played plenty of footy in the last 2 years
