People calling on Essendon to make a statement are perhaps missing that they have no right to make a statement. They are not part of the proceedings. Any such statement would be them breaching the privacy provisions of WADA and AFL code. The only one who can come out and make that statement is Daniher himself. Daniher's IN status is currently a private matter for him, not for the AFL or Essendon to make comment on.

So that means that for instance (as we know there are a dozen or so players not currently at Essendon who may have IR's).. Fremantle can't come out and say that Pavlich hasn't got an IR? Spare me

Absolutely nothing stopping Essendon saying that he's NOT infracted.

The way the whole thing has gone IMO it would be better off thinking everything has been a lie from everyone and try to pick out anything that "BE" a truth!

While I appreciate the effort Jenny it doesn't actually say he got one with any reliable quotes or evidence from any source.

https://au.news.yahoo.com/thewest/sport/a/26280433/wafls-ex-bombers-in-limbo/

An article from a later date which is the similar vein to the one you've thrown out but concedes it's not known publicly if he has got one.

Unless of course I've missed something?
So why is half the Essendon playing Willy today and not The Saints? Doing the same thing that Dell'olio is doing aren't they?

Really? I still wouldn't believe them

Remember when Little said he wasn't expecting SCN? Then the next day they received them, and to find out that he asked ASADA to wait off on the SCN because of their match on the weekend?
The difference is, that we will know in a very short time whether they are telling the truth or not. No way they'd bold faced lie this close to the verdict being handed down.

I'm sorry are you wanting to argue the merits of the decision to sit out?

Because my comment which you took issue with was it hasn't been announced publicly if he has been given a IN. Was I right or wrong? Please stay on point Jen. :)
Have any of the players names who have received IN's been released publicly? They have all had the same speculation as applies to Dell'olio sitting out of games which they would otherwise be able to play

Are you suggesting all players sitting out games are facing infraction notices?

Are you suggesting all players sitting out games are facing infraction notices?
Suggesting that those players who were on the Essendon list in 2012 and who are physically able to play but are not doing so are, yes.
Why do you think players who were on the Essendon list in 2012 and who are able to play but are not doing so are missing games?

So if a 2012 player is currently injured then they aren't facing one?

Doing the thing you accuse others of doing I see Bonce deflect the question and ask one of your own.

Can you show me where I said anything about injured players?

As I said why do you think otherwise healthy players who where at the club in 2012 aren't playing?

Huh? Deflecting? I said where has it been made public knowledge Corey has a IN notice. You said coz he's sitting out. I asked do you then think ALL players sitting out are facing IN. You said no only healthy players. I asked are you saying that those who are injured aren't facing notices.

Which then leads to the above accusation I'm supposedly deflecting. I'm still on point, there has not even a public declaration or acknowledgement that Corey has a notice.

Why I think healthy players are sitting out is another topic all together. It is certainly not the one I am on and am desperately trying to keep you on, that it is not yet in the public arena that Corey has a IN.

Unless you can show somewhere that it has?

I'm picturing you with a boiling red face and steam coming out your ears

What is the entirely other topic that would have the healthy player sitting out? The two are very much woven together.
Why do you think Cory is sitting out of WAFL practice games? He isn't injured and is available to play but is choosing not to do so. So what is it that could be seeing him not play?

http://www.theage.com.au/afl/afl-ne...spite-infraction-notices-20141128-11vwbh.html

The AFL has given at least two former Essendon players permission to play competitive games in the Northern Territory Football League despite them being issued with infraction notices.

Small forward Cory Dell'Olio, and utility Nathan Lovett-Murray have been cleared to play in the territory's top competition.

Fairfax Media understands that both players are among the 34 current and former Bombers issued with infraction notices on November 14.

Which may be relevant except for the article from well after that which said it wasn't known publicly if he had been issued. Sadly the words "Fairfax media understands" doesn't hold much weight.

Thank you for at least attempting to address my point instead of opting for a sideshow.

nah man, they are lying. They don't know the Truth.

This is just weasel words:
That article has been edited, and was published 40 minutes after my comment you're quoting. Bit of a reach there. At the time I made the comment we had Ralph commenting "nothing in it."

I'm quite happy with the definitive statement in the amended article. If it's wrong it's on the journo. And overall it's the outcome I wanted.

Old man Daniher certainly seemed pretty pissed about what took place at Essendon.

4.5 hour interview with a guy who wasn't involved in the program......Ok.

Probably just a coincidence.

Players not on the program would have seen a hell of a lot of what was going on, and have no incentive to hold back info

I suspect the non sanctioned players would have provided a lot of the confirmation or repudiation of staff/player statements without realising it
