I have. Nowhere does its state that clubs are exempt from the all provisions of section seven, ergo every club in the league is in breach.

As a 10 year coach you might want to educate yourself on these matters as part of your duty of care to your players; although a well known ex under-9s coach who got an AFL senior job seems not to have bothered.

Have you filled in a registration form with your name, address and phone number on it? If so you have registed your whereabouts with your league. You are compliant.

If, and only if, ASADA add you to the Registered Testing Pool (RTP) will you be notified that you need to continually update your whereabouts via their website. Have any of your under-9s players been notified that they are in the RTP? If not then simply providing their home address at their time of registration each season sees them compliant.

Cheap shot.

That's not the only requirement of section 7.

Cheap shot.

Thankyou :)

NFL Clubs, Players, Officials, Volunteers and Supporters

It is timely to remind all NFL stakeholders that club players and officials of any Australian Football competition that is operated and managed under the Laws of Australian Football are bound by the AFL Anti-Doping Code (Clause 21 of the Laws of Australian Football). Therefore, this code applies toALL NFL players and officials and sanctions of up to a four year ban can apply.

The Australian Sports Anti-Doping Authority (ASADA) has the power to test NFL players on training and match days. They also have the power to investigate any NFL player suspected of purchasing, trafficking or using prohibited substances under the WADA prohibited substances list. ASADA work closely with Australian Customs and Police to identify the importation and distribution of banned substances and the ordering, purchasing or delivery acceptance of such substances constitutes a breach.

The NFL will continue to work closely with AFL Victoria and the AFL on a raft of new measures to ensure community football is not impacted by the infiltration of organised crime or prohibited substances. Testing has shown not to be the answer in curbing breaches and it is now clear that investigation, collaboration and diligence are our greatest weapon in the fight.

That's not the only requirement of section 7.

And you are compliant with all of them even if you don't know it. Someone in your reserves imports a banned peptide, and ASADA choose to act, then that player can cop a 2 or even 5 year ban. If there are 2 of them your league can take action against your club.

Even Fairfax running with it now, but why do I bother when you guys still won't believe it. Ah well.

The best bit is knowing that when you realize that he hasn't got an IN you'll still carry the faux moral outrage that you had beforehand when you thought he had. There will never be a moment when you go, 'oh, they didn't have a 17 year old in the program so therefore it wasn't as bad as I thought it was'.

Just like when you realized the volume of injections wasn't what was reported

Just like when you realized that AOD9604 wasn't being prosecuted

Just like when you realized the list of substances was dramatically smaller than what was reported

Just like when you realized that the support staff that were using PEDs didn't include Hird

For you guys on here, the saga will always be as bad in your mind as it was first sensationally reported. Sad, really.

Pertinent.

Everyone on this board who thought that Essendon had doped a minor should now reconsider their position on how bad Essendon was. Essendon is now less bad than what you thought they were.

Bet you don't adjust your stance.

Any excuses that the naysayers haven't used yet? Maybe we named Joe by accident?

Seriously, anyone with half a brain could see Joe doesn't and never has had an infraction notice... which to be fair, probably explains why a lot of people on here thought that he might have...
Maybe the afl is part of the cover up and JD will be a late withdrawal. Helping essendon's pr a little as per tip off etc.

Or maybe, because he was a minor when it all happened the rules are applied differently.

Or maybe, joe gave substantial assistance during his 4.5 hour interview and got off completely.

Or maybe joe was only dosed up on AOD, which would explain the long interview but the apparent lack of IN

or maybe Joe just wasn't part of the program.

IMO this changes nothing. James Hird forced an under aged Daniher to take PED's, and now in order to protect his crumbling reputation he is forcing him to play a useless NAB Challenge game (resetting the backdating he would receive just for Hird)

This is much more likely than the under age guy not on the list didnt participate in the program. That is just stupid
