if Ralph had the chance to bury Essendon he would. Ditto Caro. Ditto Smith. If there was even a sniff of a story about this then it would be huge news and journos would be falling over themselves to break it and it would be reported in places other than the HTB.

Yet, it's not...

Funny that.

But I don't imagine even that logic will dissuade the 'true believers' in here, eh lads?

Why would they? They haven't been speculating on who might have IN's based on other big names that aren't playing so why would they start with joe?

Yeah cause ASADA have really been an "in and out quickly" service, I mean he must be on drugs because you say so, because you have an interpretation of time, an interpretation of something you could not possibly know.

I mean really, how could you know the reason it took this time? Is that generally a long time? What is the average time people spend being interviewed by ASADA? Blackest day in sport, ASADA think Essendon is guilty so only interview player for 4 hours, probs with half hour lunch included? Cause every other player at the club went in ASADA as fast as possible like a drive through but not Daniher?

Oh boy that would be juicy for you wouldn't it.

Disgusting.
Congrats on posting more than "hird's fault'. I have to say, I didn't see it coming.

Good. Now that's all cleared up.

Is there a new theory that if a journalist hasn't reported a story, it can't possibly have happened?

Karmichael Hunt must have been sitting tight and confident until recently.
Makes more sense than believing a made up story with no basis on zero evidence

I really can't wait to see Joe play next week and see what excuse you come up with.

lol no one needs to make excuses if he plays, essendon fans are the only ones losing their minds over this thread. Everyone else is merely acknowledging that while he's absent from the team it's a possibility.

Funny how the media have no problem reporting on hirds embarrassing side effects from his injections, posting private text messages and leaking the names of some of those with SCNs thus breaking player confidentiality, yet are reluctant to report on what would be the biggest story to come out of this saga so far.

Guess the anti-essendon journos just suddenly grew a heart...
Same reason the 34 names have not been published by anyone. You think they don't all know who they are?

So Lance Uppercut, if Daniher is available, but not playing I guess we wait and see if he is 'right' next week?
Haha, yeah I guess. I guess until he actually runs on to the field you can't be 100% sure.

Well, unless you're not totally invested in the **** and bull theory that makes no sense, of course. Then the club statement would probably be enough.

Devils advocate and all that, "he is available" isn't exactly the sort of strong comment I would've wanted if I was a Bomber fan being queried by some "invested" posters on a forum, but hey, let's just see if he runs out next week.

Yep.

Technically, all EFC players are "available". Their suspensions so far are voluntary. If they want to play, then they are ALL "available".

I would have thought that it would be reasonable.....hell, demanded....that they state that the 1 minor at the Club during the jabathon was NOT involved and has NOT recieved an infraction notice.

If he is clean, just say so.

But no.............

I think we all threw out the "it doesn't makes sense" defence along with the "Hirdy wouldn't do that" defence about 2 years ago.

Did it happen? - probably not
Could it happen? Hell yes. Surely you are the point where you can't rule anything out even if you don't wan't to believe it.
Do we believe things EFC say? No (but it would be pretty ballsy for EFC to directly lie)

It makes perfect sense to me. 'Whatever It Takes'.

The theory about him playing for his local club does not hold sway with me either, Spike McVeighs brother was playing for Sydney. Anyone who walked out of that club could have spilled the beans to anyone

They aren't voluntary at all. Provisional suspensions aren't voluntary...

When you're suspended you are by definition not available

This is one area in the "privacy" rort that Essendon either hasn't considered, or doesn't care about. By not naming the 34 players with INs they're allowing the innocent players on their list to wear the tag of suspected drug cheat. It's pathetic.
