4 hour interview? I think you're overstating it. That's just a morning session. Once you take out all the coffees and smalltalk and procedural matters it's easy to see how 4 hours could go by if they are trying to see if he's heard anything suspicious from other players for example, or getting other players testimony cross-checked.

The Sheedy thing? Come on. What's that got to do with Daniher being on the project. You and I both know it's a sop to the die-hards. It's not surprising in the least.

if Ralph had the chance to bury Essendon he would. Ditto Caro. Ditto Smith. If there was even a sniff of a story about this then it would be huge news and journos would be falling over themselves to break it and it would be reported in places other than the HTB.

Funny how the media have no problem reporting on hirds embarrassing side effects from his injections, posting private text messages and leaking the names of some of those with SCNs thus breaking player confidentiality, yet are reluctant to report on what would be the biggest story to come out of this saga so far.

Of course they'd be reluctant. Because this is serious shit, something with enormous legal ramification. They'd want to be absolutely sure about it first, and that will mean waiting until there's a guilty verdict.

What we do know is that Dank wasn't rogue, and indeed Hird knew more of what Dank was doing than the delusional twits who hold up #standbyhird posters would dare to think about.
Reid stood by and let it happen, the soon to be CEO, assistant coaches and whoever else were all too busy texting each other about the 'good stuff' they were getting and how player X was feeling so much better after his jabs.

I think you know as well as the rest of us, that this whole shebang looks like a duck, waddles like a duck and quacks like a duck, but club loyalty has you querying anyone and everyone while arguing that it could well be a chicken.

So yeah, would I put it passed Hird/Dank/Robinson and whoever else to say "Hey, young Joe might see some benefits of the program?". No, not at all.

Essendon were almost devoid of rational thought in 2012, so why make out like getting Joe into the program they thought was going to slide on by all WADA rules is so far fetched.
