I dont like everything he says. Not sure id put him right or left. But I also stay away from the political episodes. Because I could care less about americas politics.

I hate to defend joe rogan here but he seems ok to me, I listen to various episodes of his podcast occasionally as some are interesting. The jewel one recently for example is worth a listen.
Personally I don’t think he is remotely close to being a rwnj as you put it, just because he is sceptical about the vaccine which he has a right to be doesn’t make him so, I don’t think it’s political with him, I mean this is a guy who has supported countless left wing politicians on his show, having them on as guests and such, stating how he would vote for sanders etc. sanders is a guy who seemed like he was too left for the wing party there.
the gun thing.. he’s American living in America who likes to hunt, have no idea how that makes him a rwnj either.

He has the right to be sceptical but when he peddles out misinformation and baseless claims about Australia and other matters and doesn’t backtrack when the information to correct his views is presented …then well * him
fair enough to get annoyed about the s**t he has said about Australia’s lockdowns, he gets s**t wrong from time to time like everybody else, that doesn’t make him a rwnj though

No you are either not understanding what is being relayed to you or dismissing it to suit your point of view, his views if anything are left leaning politically which he has stated countless times but like most sensible people with their head screwed on straight, isn't completely all-in one way or the other.. because he has an opinion that doesn’t toe the political line completely doesn’t mean he is the complete opposite politically.
I disagree with Rogan on things, and I agree with him on things. He also talks about stuff that I have no interest in (fighting etc) and I will usually ignore those ones.
His platform is 3 hour+ unedited podcasts. He says a lot of stuff, and contradicts himself sometimes. I do when I'm having long chats over beers with mates, too. He also doesn't claim to be an expert on most issues.
He's not a "right wing nut job". He voted for Sanders! People like him because he talks largely unfiltered like normal people do, and because he has a wide range of guests.
Yeah I'd say he clearly leans left. Not that I listen religiously, but the only real right-wing positions I've heard him espouse are on guns and hunting. Not a fan of antifa either I suppose. Anti vax... meh, moreso pro choice I'd say.
On just about everything else he comes across as pretty left. Certainly social issues.

I reckon he's actually better than most when it comes to acknowledging mistakes and bad takes. There was another notable one from a few months back, can't quite remember what it was.

Is he particularly RW? I don't see it.
You don't have to be RW to be sceptical of vaccines or critical of Australia's lockdowns.
His position on guns is more RW than LW but I'd say that is simply a divergence from his otherwise broadly LW views, rather than evidence he's a RWNJ.
That doesn't make him RW.

Strange Cat calling Rogan a RWNJ is an example of politically charged hatred-filled society we live in today. Rogans podcast is popular because hes fairly well-balanced, and he provides a platform for discussion for which our exponentially complex world needs.
Rogan has interviewed Bernie Sanders and Tulsi Gabbard from the Democrat party. If Strange Cat wasn't an ignorant person he/she would know that and saw the discourse between Rogan and both Democrats was respectful and engaging. Rogan has openly admitted that Sanders was his preferred President but didnt get the nomination over Biden.
Rogans also had Ben Shapiro, Candace Owens and Steven Crowder from the right side of politics. Anyone thats listened to these podcasts in full would notice that Rogan debated these guys more fiercely, which supports the point that he leans politically left.
He might have other characteristics that make him look like he is a right winger, such as MMA, goes hunting, pro-choice on vaccines. But then he has characteristics of a left winger, such as legalizing weed, pro-choice on abortion and euthanasia.
At the end of the day being someone who sits on the fence politically is the best position to be in. The swing voters make democracy work. If there were no swing voters our countries would be either hard right or hard left and both are awfully bad. Rogan finds himself in the middle and thats why i believe he has attracted such a large audience.
The horse de-wormer CNN narrative is their pathetic legal-tactic attempt to discredit a guy who gets 200 million views a month, something that threatens the prosperity of CNN who are trying to claw back their numbers any way possible.
