Excellent post. Will be interesting to see if the AFC agree with you.

Gill has most of the attributes needed to succeed but, like any player, has some weaknesses - erratic goal kicking, injury worries and the fact that he'd not been fully committed to football at Melbourne which was why he was dropped.

If the AFC believe his strengths outweigh these or that these factors can be changed, they could do a lot worse than draft him, especially late or in the PSD.
